**Determination of Individual Interests under Section 42 of
"The Native Land Court Act, 1886."

NOTICE is hereby given that, at a sitting of this Court
to be held at Whanganui, on the 17th day of January,
1889, will be heard the applications of the persons whose
names appear in the first column, for the determination of
their relative shares or interests in the hereditaments com-
prised in the Crown grants, or other instruments of title, of
the parcels of land, the names of which appear in the second
column, situate in the districts respectively named in the
third column.

NATIVE LAND COURT, NEW ZEALAND:
DISTRICT OF WHANGANUI.

NOTICE is hereby given that it has, under section 81 of
"The Native Land Court Act, 1886," been certified to
this Court that there had become owing to each certified
Surveyor named in the first column in the Schedule herein
the sum set opposite his name in the second column, by the
Native owners of the land mentioned in the third column,
for a survey of such land made by the said Surveyor.

SCHEDULE.

And further notice is hereby given that, at a sitting of the
Court to be held at Whanganui, on the 17th day of January,
1889, orders will, unless cause be then shown to the Court
to the contrary, be made in favour of the said Surveyors
respectively, charging the estate and interest of the re-
spective Native owners of the said lands with the whole or
such part of the said cost of survey so made for them as
the Court may deem fit.

January, 1889, orders will, unless cause be then shown to the
Court to the contrary, be made in favour of the said Surveyors
respectively, charging the estate and interest of the respective
Native owners of the said lands with the whole or such part
of the said cost of survey so made for them as the Court may
deem fit.

APPLICATION having been made, under section 2 of
the said Act, by the Natives whose names appear in
the first column of the Schedule hereto, claiming to be
beneficially interested in the lands mentioned in the second
column, situate in the district set out in the third column:
Notice is hereby given that, at a sitting to be opened at
Tologo Bay, on the 10th day of January, 1889, the Native Land
Court will proceed to make inquiry into the nature of the
titles to the said lands and into the nature of any trusts
affecting such titles, and to make such orders thereon as
may appear proper; and at such sitting all persons, whether
Native or European, claiming title to such lands, or to any
estate therein, are hereby required to attend.
