ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-seventh day of November, 1888.
Present:
His Excellency the Governor in Council.
WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto was reserved for a quarry: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor, it is expedient to vest the said land in the Mercer Road Board:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the fourth section of “The Public Reserves Act, 1881,” doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the said reserve shall become vested in the Mercer Road Board, in trust, for a quarry.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that piece or parcel of land containing by admeasurement 27 acres and 36 perches, more or less, being called or known as Section No. 58, Parish of Koheroa, Maramarua Survey District, Provincial District of Auckland. Bounded towards the north-east by Section No. 57 1042 links, the crossing of a road-line 112 links, again by the aforesaid Section No. 57 1219 links; towards the south-east by a road, 518 links; towards the south generally by a road and the crossing of a road-line, 1310, 153, 400, and 900 links respectively; towards the north-west by Section No. 122, 1210 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; the said Section No. 58 being intersected by a road 100 links wide.

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the fourth section of “The Public Reserves Act, 1881,” doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserves mentioned in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Chairman, Councillors, and inhabitants of the Ashburton County, in trust, for plantation purposes.

ALL that piece or parcel of land in the Land District of Canterbury, containing by admeasurement 20 acres 1 rood 1 perch, more or less, being Section No. 2762 (in red), situate in the Shepherd’s Bush Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east by Reserve No. 2085 (in red), 1000 links; towards the north-west by a road-line, 2026 links; towards the south-west by Crown lands, 1000 links; and towards the south-east by Crown lands, 2026 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the District Survey Office, Christchurch.
All that piece or parcel of land in the Land District of Canterbury, containing by admeasurement 19 acres 3 roods 12 perches, more or less, being Section No. 2763 (in red), situate in the Spaxton Survey District. Bounded towards the south-west by the road-line north-east of Section No. 18571, 1822 links; towards the north-west by Section No. 18570 269 links, also by a line bearing 60° 27′ 828 links; towards the north-east by Crown lands, 2001 links; and towards the south-east by Crown lands, 1007 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the District Survey Office, Christchurch.
