Clutha County Council; and I do hereby fix and determine
that the Clutha County Council shall itself provide out of
its own funds one-half of the cost of managing and main-
taining the said ferry, and the machinery and appliances
used therewith; and that the Bruce County Council shall,
on demand in writing from the said Clutha County Council,
pay to the said Clutha County Council from time to time
one-half of the actual cost of managing and maintaining
the said ferry and the appliances used therewith.

SCHEDULE.

That ferry known as the South Molyneux Ferry across the
Koau Branch of the Clutha River, on the boundary of the
Counties of Bruce and Clutha, between Section 5, Block III.,
Clutha Survey District, and Section 5, Block II., Inch-
Clutha Survey District, all in the Provincial District of
Otago; as the same is delineated on the plan marked P.W.D.
15957, deposited in the office of the Minister for Public
Works, at Wellington, in the Provincial District of Wel-
ington, and thereon marked in red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency Sir William
Francis Drummond Jervois, Lieutenant-General
in Her Majesty's Army, Knight Grand Cross of
the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael
and Saint George, Companion of the Most Honour-
able Order of the Bath, Governor and Commander-
in-Chief in and over Her Majesty's Colony of New
Zealand and its Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral
of the same; and issued under the Seal of the
said Colony, at the Government House, at Wel-
ington, this twenty-seventh day of November, in
the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred
and eighty-eight.

of Auckland, for the Purposes of the Kaipara-Waikato
Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable, for the use,
convenience, and enjoyment of the Kaipara-Wai-
kato Railway, to take further land in the Borough of
Parnell, Suburbs of Auckland, in addition to land previously
acquired for the purposes of the said railway:

Now, therefore, I, William Francis Drummond Jervois,
the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise of
the powers and authorities conferred on me by "The Public
Works Act, 1882," and of every other power and authority in
anywise enabling me in that behalf, do hereby proclaim and
declare that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is
hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by the sixth section of "The Land
Act, 1885," I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the
Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby declare
that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the Pro-
clamations of the seventh day of July, one thousand eight
hundred and eighty-six, and the thirteenth day of August,
one thousand eight hundred and eighty-six, so far as they
relate to the sections enumerated in the Schedule hereto,
shall be and the same are hereby revoked; and do proclaim
and declare that the said sections are hereby withdrawn
from the village-homestead special-settlement system.
