And whereas by a warrant under the hand of His Excellency the Governor, dated the eighth day of February, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-eight, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the ninth day of February, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-eight, it was appointed that the Land Board of Wellington should sit monthly, at half-past two o’clock p.m.:

And whereas the Land Board of Wellington did, on the twenty-fifth day of October, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-eight, pass a resolution recommending that the time of sitting should be altered, and it is expedient to give effect to the said recommendation:

Now, therefore, I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise of the power and authority vested in me in that behalf, do hereby fix and determine that the ordinary meetings of the Land Board of the Land District of Wellington shall be held on the first Thursday after the last Wednesday in each month, at ten o’clock a.m., commencing on Thursday, the twenty-ninth day of November, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-eight, at ten o’clock a.m., instead of monthly, at half-past two o’clock p.m., as heretofore appointed.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this nineteenth day of November, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-eight.

Trustees appointed for the Maintenance of the Te Puke Public Cemetery.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the forty-fifth section of “The Cemeteries Act, 1882,” I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint the local authority specified in the first column of the Schedule hereto to have the control and management of the public cemetery specified in the second column of the said Schedule, in the place of William Alfred Butt, Duncan Robertson, the Reverend Seymour Miles Spencer, Hans Tapsell, and Henry Walter Vercoe.

All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auckland, being Section No. 22, Block II., Maketu Survey District, and containing by admeasurement 6 acres 2 roods, more or less. Bounded towards the north by Section No. 21 of the aforesaid block and survey district, 563·3 links; towards the south-east by Section No. 22A of aforesaid block and survey district, 1277·3 links; and towards the south-west and north-west by the main road from Maketu to Tauranga, 306, 325, and 925·9 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on Plan No. 2431 (in blue), deposited in the Survey Office, Auckland.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this nineteenth day of November, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-eight.

JAMES PILLANS MAITLAND, Esquire, Commissioner of Crown Lands for the Land District of Otago; and
HENRY CLARK, Esquire,

Commissioners to classify and report to me upon the under-mentioned rural lands in the Land District of Otago, as provided by section nine of “The Land Acts Amendment Act, 1888,” aforesaid.
