WHEREAS a declaration has been lodged with me, made by WILLIAM BALDWIN STEPHENS, late of Balclutha, now of Dunedin, Settler, the registered Proprietor of Allotment 3, Block IV., on plan of subdivision of (inter alia) Section 6, Block XXXV., Clutha District, of the loss of the certificate of title for the said land, dated the 30th day of June, 1877, Register-book, Vol. xxxiii., folio 180: I hereby give notice that I intend to issue a provisional certificate of title for the said land to the said William Baldwin Stephens, unless caveat be lodged here forbidding the same within fourteen days from the date of publication hereof.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR A METAL RESERVE IN BLOCK IX., WAITOHU SURVEY DISTRICT, COUNTY OF HOROWHENUA.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed by the Otaki Road Board, under the provisions of “The Public Works Act, 1882,” and its amendments, to execute a certain public work, to wit, the taking of land for a metal reserve in Block IX., Waitohu Survey District: Notice is further given that a plan of the said land so required to be taken is deposited for inspection at the office of the Otaki Road Board, Otaki.

And further notice is hereby given that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land are hereby called upon to set forth in writing any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said works or to the taking of the said land, and to send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Otaki Road Board aforesaid, at their office in Otaki aforesaid.

WAINUI ROAD DISTRICT.

IT is hereby notified that, under the provisions of “The Public Works Act 1882 Amendment Act, 1884,” the Wainui Road Board intend to take land for roads, 66ft. wide, as described in the attached Schedule.

The works proposed to be constructed are general road-works, clearing, and forming. Plans duly certified, showing the proposed lines of roads, lie open for inspection at the residence of the Board’s Chairman, Orewadale.

All persons affected by the said roads are hereby called upon and required to set forth in writing any well-grounded objections to the taking of such land or the execution of such works, and to send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the undersigned.
