Private Advertisements.

In the matter of "The Companies Act, 1882," and in the
matter of the North New Zealand Woollen Manufacturing
Company (Limited).
NOTICE OF EXTRAORDINARY RESOLUTION PASSED
FOR WINDING UP VOLUNTARILY.

AN extraordinary general meeting of the above-named
company, of which notice was duly given specifying
the intention to propose the subjoined resolution, was held
at Auckland, on the 21st day of September, 1888, at 3 o'clock
in the afternoon, and, with the consent of the meeting, it
was adjourned by the Chairman until the 26th day of Sep-
tember aforesaid, at the same place and hour, at which
adjourned meeting there was passed the following extra-
ordinary resolution:—
"That it has been proved to the satisfaction of this meet-
ing that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities,
continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the
same, and accordingly that the company be wound up volun-
tarily."
And at such adjourned meeting Robert Clapham Barstow,
of Epsom, Gentleman, and Joseph Barber, of Auckland,
Accountant, were appointed Liquidators.

In the matter of "The Companies Act, 1882," and in the
matter of the North New Zealand Woollen Manufac-
turing Company (Limited), in voluntary liquidation.
THE creditors of the above-named company are re-
quired, on or before the 14th day of November, 1888,
to send their names and addresses, and the particulars of
their debts or claims, to Robert Clapham Barstow and
Joseph Barber, the Liquidators of the said company, at the
office of the said Joseph Barber, Accountant, Victoria
Arcade, Queen Street, Auckland; and, if so required by
notice in writing from the said Liquidators, to prove their
said debts or claims at the office of the said Joseph Barber
within such time as shall be specified in such notice, or in
default thereof they will be excluded from the benefit of any
distribution made before such debts are proved.

NOTICE is hereby given that, at an extraordinary meeting
of the shareholders of the New Zealand Timber Com-
pany (Limited), held on the 3rd day of September, 1888, the
special resolutions hereunder set forth were passed, and at
a further extraordinary meeting, held on the 3rd day of
October, 1888, duly confirmed:—

  1. "That the New Zealand Timber Company (Limited) be
    wound up voluntarily."
  2. "That Mr. George Holdship, of Auckland, Timber
    Merchant, be appointed Liquidator of the New Zealand
    Timber Company (Limited), for the purpose of winding up
    the affairs of the said company."
    Dated at Auckland, this 3rd day of October, 1888.

THE HERALD NEWSPAPER COMPANY OF OTAGO
(LIMITED).

AT an extraordinary general meeting of the members of
the above-named company, duly convened and held
at Dunedin, on the 4th day of October, 1888, the following
extraordinary resolution was duly passed:—
"That it being satisfactorily proved that the company
cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, it is
advisable to voluntarily wind up the same."
At the same meeting, Henry Smith Fish, the younger,
of Dunedin, Merchant, and Henry North, of Dunedin,
Merchant, were appointed Liquidators for the purposes of
such winding-up.
