NOTICE is hereby given that the several parcels of land hereinafter described will be brought under the provisions of "The Land Transfer Act, 1885," unless caveat be lodged forbidding the same on or before the 5th day of November, 1888.

WHEREAS a declaration of the loss by fire of certificate of title, Vol. xxx., folio 225, for part of Section 2, Block XV., of Invercargill Hundred, JOHN DIXON being the registered owner; also certificate of title, Vol. xiv., folio 83, for part of Section 2, Block XIX., Hundred of Invercargill, HENRY GREGG being the registered owner, has been lodged with me, and application made for the issue of provisional certificates of title: Now notice is hereby given of my intention to issue provisional certificates accordingly after the expiration of fourteen days from the date of the Gazette containing this notice.

Mining Notice.

I, the undersigned, hereby make application to register the Extended Wakatu Gold-mining Company as a Limited Company, under the provisions of "The Mining Companies Act, 1886."

  1. The name of the company is to be the Extended Wakatu Gold-mining Company (Limited).

  2. The place of operations is the Wakatu Special Claim and the Bulmer Creek Lease, Owen District, in the Colony of New Zealand.

  3. The registered office of the company will be situated at Nelson, in the colony aforesaid.

  4. The capital of the company is six thousand pounds, in twenty-four thousand shares of five shillings each.

  5. The number of shares subscribed for is sixteen thousand nine hundred and fourteen, being not less than two-thirds of the shares in the company.

  6. The number of paid-up shares is nil.

  7. The amount already paid up is nil.

  8. The name of the Manager is Sheppard J. Reeves.
