any trusts affecting such titles, and to make such orders
thereon as may appear proper; and at such sitting all

Sitting of the Native Land Court.

NOTICE is hereby given that a sitting of the Native Land
Court will be holden at Waipawa, on Tuesday, the
6th day of November, 1888, for the purpose of ascertaining
what amount of compensation ought to be paid to the Native
owners of the land known as Block No. II, Tahoraiti No. 2,
with respect to the land taken under a Proclamation issued
under the hand of His Excellency Sir William Francis
Drummond Jervois, Governor of the Colony of New Zealand,
on the 23rd day of March, 1888, in addition to land previously
acquired; for the purposes of the Wellington-Napier Rail-
way; and also for the purpose of ascertaining who are the

proper persons entitled to receive such compensation, and
what land is affected by the said Proclamation.

Land Transfer Act Notices.

NOTICE is hereby given that the several parcels of land
hereinafter described will be brought under the pro-
visions of "The Land Transfer Act, 1885," unless caveat be
lodged forbidding the same in each case on or before the 8th
day of November, 1888.
