license, as the case may be; and, upon fulfilment of the
terms and conditions prescribed by the said Act relating to
land on deferred payments, will be entitled to the Crown
grant, to be issued in the usual way.
9. Each applicant for any of the allotments on perpetual
leasing shall be required to deposit with the Receiver
of Land Revenue for the land district a sum equal to one
half-year's rent of the allotments included in the application,
and such payment shall be in discharge of the half-year's
rent due on the first day of January or July which shall
first ensue after the commencement of the term, together
with the sum of thirty shillings for the lease and registration
thereof.
