THE WAIHOU GOLD-MINING COMPANY (LIMITED), IN LIQUIDATION.
NOTICE is hereby given that, pursuant to section 202 of “The Companies Act, 1882,” a General Meeting of the members of the above-named company will be held on Wednesday, the 21st day of November, 1888, at half-past two o’clock in the afternoon, at the rooms of the Canterbury Agricultural and Pastoral Association, No. 172, Hereford Street, Christchurch, in order that there may be laid before the said company an account showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the property of the company has been disposed of, and in order that the said company may hear any explanation that may be given by the Liquidator; and also that an extraordinary resolution may be passed for determining the manner in which the books, accounts, and documents of the said company and of the Liquidator shall be disposed of.

WAITOTARA-MOMOHAKI ROAD BOARD.
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of “The Public Works Act, 1882,” to execute a certain public work, to wit, to construct a road from the Ngutuera Valley to the Werewereanga Valley, and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken. Notice is hereby given that the plans of the said road and of the land required to be taken are deposited at Mr. A. W. Curry’s Store, Waitotara, and are there open for inspection. Notice is also given that any persons affected by the taking of such land or the execution of such work shall, if they have any objections, set forth the same in writing, and send the same, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Chairman of this Board, at Waitotara.

PATANGATA COUNTY COUNCIL.
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of “The Public Works Act, 1882,” to construct a road at Wallingford, in the County of Patangata, and to take for such purpose certain lands described in the Schedule hereto appended. A plan of the said road and lands required is deposited at the Post Office, Wallingford, for public inspection. Notice is further given that all persons affected by the execution of such public work or by the taking of such land shall, if they have any well-grounded objections to the execution of such public work or the taking of such lands, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the office of the Patangata County Council, Waipukurau.
