Gold-mining Lease cancelled.

IT is hereby notified that His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to pronounce the under-mentioned gold-mining lease cancelled, and that the ground is now open for application as if no lease of the said ground had ever been applied for:—
John Ritchie and William Burns (for the Bon Accord Quartz-mining Company); Section 89, Block XIII., Lyell, Karamea Mining District.

NOTICE is hereby given that application has been made by HIRINI WHANGA, IHAKA MAIHI WHANGA, EPANĀIA WHANGA, HAMUERA RUNGA TE RANGI, IHARAIRA WHANGA TE TOKO (otherwise TE TOKO IHARAIRA), MARARA WHANGA, and MATENE WHANGA (the said Iharaira, Marara, and Matene by their Trustees, duly appointed), claiming as the surviving Devisees under the will of IHAKA WHANGA to be registered as Proprietors of an estate in fee-simple in that parcel of land containing 6,444 acres, more or less, comprising the Tawapata North No. 1 Block and the Tawapata North No. 2 Block; and, further, that the applicants will be registered accordingly, after the expiration of one month from the date of the Gazette containing this notice, unless caveat in the meantime be lodged.

NOTICE OF THE INCREASE OF CAPITAL.
AT an extraordinary meeting of Shareholders, held at the registered office of the company, Broadway, Reefton, on Tuesday, the 21st day of August, 1888, a resolution was carried, “That the capital of the company be increased by the issue of fifteen thousand new shares of one pound sterling each, ten shillings of which shall be considered as paid up.”
