Native Lands acquired by Her Majesty declared to be Crown Lands.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by section two hundred and forty-seven of "The Land Act, 1885" (hereinafter termed "the said Act"), it is enacted that whenever the Governor is satisfied that any Native lands acquired by Her Majesty in any way, or purchased out of any sums authorised, or to be authorised, to be issued and expended in the purchase of lands in the North Island of New Zealand are free from Native claims and all difficulties in connection therewith, he shall, by Proclamation, declare such lands to be Crown lands, subject to be sold and dealt with as in the said Act is more particularly mentioned: And whereas the lands hereinafter mentioned have been purchased out of sums so authorised to be issued and expended as aforesaid:

Now, therefore, I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, being satisfied that the lands enumerated in the Schedule hereto are free from Native claims and all difficulties in connection therewith, do hereby, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me by the said Act, proclaim and declare the lands so enumerated as aforesaid to be Crown lands, subject to be sold and dealt with according to the provisions of the laws regulating the sale and disposal of Crown lands in force in the land districts in which they are respectively situated.

SCHEDULE.

Pukehinu.—Containing 86 acres, situated in the Thames Survey District, being the whole of the land comprised in Crown Grant, Vol. ix., folio 75, of the Register-book of the Auckland District.

Ohinemuri No. 2A (No. 1).—Containing 75 acres 2 roods, situated in the Ohinemuri Survey District, being the whole of the land comprised in, and declared by, an order of the Native Land Court, made at Ohinemuri, on the 1st day of October, 1887, to be the property of Her Majesty.

Ohinemuri No. 4A (No. 1).—Containing 756 acres, situated in the Ohinemuri Survey District, being the whole of the land comprised in, and declared by, an order of the Native Land Court, made at Ohinemuri, on the 1st day of October, 1887, to be the property of Her Majesty.

Ohinemuri No. 7A (No. 1).—Containing 110 acres, situated in the Ohinemuri Survey District, being the whole of the land comprised in, and declared by, an order of the Native Land Court, made at Ohinemuri, on the 4th day of October, 1887, to be the property of Her Majesty.

Ohinemuri No. 10A (No. 1).—Containing 36 acres 2 roods, situated in the Aroha Survey District, being the whole of the land comprised in, and declared by, an order of the Native Land Court, made at Ohinemuri, on the 4th day of October, 1887, to be the property of Her Majesty.

Ohinemuri No. 13A (No. 1).—Containing 12 acres 1 rood, situated in the Waihi North Survey District, being the whole of the land comprised in, and declared by, an order of the Native Land Court, made at Ohinemuri, on the 4th day of October, 1887, to be the property of Her Majesty.

Ohinemuri No. 16A (No. 1).—Containing 180 acres 1 rood, situated in the Aroha Survey District, being the whole of the land comprised in, and declared by, an order of the Native Land Court, made at Ohinemuri, on the 4th day of October, 1887, to be the property of Her Majesty.

Ohinemuri No. 17A (No. 1).—Containing 3,278 acres, situated in the Waihi North and Katikati North Survey Districts, being the whole of the land comprised in, and declared by, an order of the Native Land Court, made at Ohinemuri, on the 1st day of October, 1887, to be the property of Her Majesty.

Ohinemuri No. 19A (No. 1).—Containing 32 acres, situated in the Aroha Survey District, being the whole of the land comprised in, and declared by, an order of the Native Land Court, made at Ohinemuri, on the 4th day of October, 1887, to be the property of Her Majesty.

Owharoa No. 2A (No. 1).—Containing 167 acres 1 rood, situated in the Ohinemuri Survey District, being the whole of the land comprised in, and declared by, an order of the Native Land Court, made at Ohinemuri, on the 4th day of October, 1887, to be the property of Her Majesty.

Lot 38, Parish of Waipa.—Containing 50 acres, situated in the Newcastle Survey District, being the whole of the land comprised in Crown grant, Vol. xxiv., folio 178, of the Register-book of the Auckland District.

Lot 76, Parish of Waipa.—Containing 483 acres and 9 perches, situated in the Newcastle Survey District, being the whole of the land comprised in Crown grant, Vol. xxiv., folio 164, of the Register-book of the Auckland District.

Te Awa o Tukorako No. 2A.—Containing 16 acres 2 roods 12 perches, situated in the Tauranga Survey District, being the whole of the land comprised in, and declared by, an order of the Native Land Court, made at Tauranga, on the 17th day of March, 1888, to be the property of Her Majesty.

Motukauri No. 1.—Containing 13 acres and 22 perches, situated in the Tauranga Survey District, being the whole of the land comprised in, and declared by, an order of the Native Land Court, made at Tauranga, on the 12th day of March, 1888, to be the property of Her Majesty.

Te Maire No. 1.—Containing 164 acres 2 roods, situated in the Tauranga Survey District, being the whole of the land comprised in, and declared by, an order of the Native Land
