Proclaiming the Taking and Laying-off of a Road over
Land in the Taranaki Provincial District.

A PROCLAMATION.
I N pursuance and in exercise of all powers and authorities
enabling me in this behalf, I, William Francis Drum-
mond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand,
do hereby proclaim that the road described in the Schedule
hereto has been duly taken and laid off through the land
specified under warrant of the date given in the said
Schedule.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Taranaki,
containing by admeasurement 19 acres 1 rood 8 perches,
more or less, situate in the Mimi Survey District, and being
a portion of Main North Road, 100 links wide, traversing the
Mohakatino-Parininihi No. 2 Block (No. 378A); commencing
at the southern boundary on the Waikiekie Creek, the east
side of the road referred to being a distance of 3 chains from
the south-east boundary of the Mohakatino-Parininihi No. 2
Block; and thence continuing northerly generally for a
distance of 19288 links or thereabouts to the high-water mark
of the Tongaporutu River, at a point 71623 links from the
east side of the aforesaid road, along the Tongaporutu River
to the intersection with back boundary-line: be all the afore-
said linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on
Map 378A, deposited in the Survey Office, New Plymouth,
Taranaki.
Date of warrant, 26th April, 1888.
Given under the hand of His Excellency Sir William
Francis Drummond Jervois, Lieutenant-General
in Her Majesty's Army, Knight Grand Cross of
the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael
and Saint George, Companion of the Most
Honourable Order of the Bath, Governor and
Commander-in-Chief in and over Her Majesty's
Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies,
and Vice-Admiral of the same; and issued under
the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government
House, at Wellington, this twenty-seventh day of
July, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight
hundred and eighty-eight.

A PROCLAMATION.
I N pursuance and in exercise of all powers and authorities
enabling me in this behalf, I, William Francis Drum-
mond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand,
do hereby proclaim that the roads described in the Schedule
hereto have been duly taken and laid off through the lands
specified under warrant of the date given in the said
Schedule.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that piece of land, 100 links wide, the centre of which
begins at a point marked A in the Te Rirnu Block, in the
Mangawhero Survey District, distant 3397 links from Trig.
Station 6 on a bearing of 278° 59', and proceeds thence in a
northerly direction and generally along the left bank of the
Wangaehu River, over the Te Rirnu, Tokorangi, Mangamahu,
Otuangiangi, and Matawhitia Blocks, to a point marked B,
distant north 29618 links and east 10040 links of Trig. Station
6 aforesaid.
Also all that piece of land, 100 links wide, the centre of
which commences at a point marked C on the Otuangiangi
Block, Mangawhero Survey District, distant 1095 links on a
bearing of N. 24° 40' E. from Trig. Station 12, and proceeds
thence in a north-easterly direction over the Otuangiangi
and Matawhitia Blocks to a point marked D in the last-
named block, distant 29624 links north and 18654 links east
of Trig. Station 6 aforesaid.
As the same pieces of land are more particularly de-
lineated on the plan marked Survey Office 2675/45, deposited
in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Wellington.
Date of warrant, 1st March, 1887.
Given under the hand of His Excellency Sir William

in Her Majesty's Army, Knight Grand Cross of the
