Notice to Mariners, No. 9 of 1888.
NELSON HARBOUR.

Wellington, N.Z., 18th May, 1888.
NOTICE is hereby given that the signal staff at Nelson has been moved from the Port Hill to a position on the Boulder Bank eighty yards S.W. ¼ W. from the lighthouse.
The bar and danger signals will be shown therefrom on and after Saturday, the 19th instant.

Notice to Mariners, No. 10 of 1888.
POSITION OF MINE-FIELD, WELLINGTON HARBOUR.

Wellington, N.Z., 23rd May, 1888.
NOTICE is hereby given that all waters inside of a line drawn from the outer rock off Gordon Point, Wellington Harbour, in a S.S.E. direction, for a distance of 7 cables, and a line from thence to shore, in a W.S.W. direction, a distance of 3 cables, as marked by four black cask-buoys, are now used as a torpedo mine-field. All vessels are therefore cautioned against getting within the above-described limits.

Revocation of Appointment of Bonding Warehouse.
CUSTOMS.—In exercise of the authority in me for this purpose vested; I, the Commissioner of Trade and Customs, do, by this order under my hand, revoke and annul the appointment of the under-mentioned warehouse for the reception and security of goods entered to be warehoused without payment of duty upon the first entry thereof, namely:—
Port of Lyttelton.
The warehouse known as
INGLIS’S BOND,
as appointed and described in Commissioner’s Order No. 176, of the 20th January, 1883.

Approving and appointing a Bonding Warehouse.
CUSTOMS.—In exercise of the powers in me for this purpose vested by “The Customs Laws Consolidation Act, 1882,” I, the Commissioner of Trade and Customs, do hereby approve and appoint the under-mentioned warehouse to be a warehouse for the reception of goods under bond, namely:—
Port of Lyttelton.
Two floors and cellar of a building of brick and stone, roofed with slates, situated on part Town Section No. 900, corner of Cashel Street, Christchurch, to be known as
INGLIS’S BOND.
Given under my hand, at Wellington, this twenty-second day of May, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-eight.
