THE following special order, made by the Taradale Town Board, is published for general information.

SPECIAL ORDER.

THAT it be a special order of this Board that a special rate of one-farthing in the pound be levied on all rateable property in the Taradale Town District, as security for the proposed loan of £600 under “The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886.” Such rate to be for twenty-six years, from the 1st July, 1888, and to be an annually-recurring rate, and that the said rate shall be payable yearly in advance ; such payment to commence on the 1st day of July, 1889.

I hereby certify that the above special order was made on the 31st March, 1888, and confirmed at a subsequent special meeting held on the 3rd May, 1888, in manner required by law.
