NELSON.
All that parcel of land in the Nelson Land District, con-
taining by admeasurement 63 acres 3 roods, more or less,
being Section No. 22, Block II., Gordon Survey District.
Bounded on the northward partly by Crown lands and
partly by Section No. 59, Square No. 4, 3554 links; on the
eastward by Crown lands, 455 and 939 links; on the south-
ward and south-westward by a public road, 383, 259, 717,
1272, 575, 526, 465, 637, and 596 links: be all the aforesaid
linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on the plan
deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Nelson. For a
resting-place for stock.
OTAGO.
All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Otago,
containing by admeasurement 10 acres, more or less, situate
in the Maniototo District, and being Section No. 9 of Block
VIII. of said district. Bounded towards the north by
Crown lands, 506 links; towards the north-east by a road-
line, 1743 links; towards the south-west by a road-line, 487
and 655 links; and towards the west by Crown lands, 1100
links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. For a
school-site.
SOUTHLAND.
All that parcel of land in the Southland Land District, con-
taining by admeasurement 2 acres and 16 perches, more or
less, being Sections Nos. 7, 8, 9, 14, 15, and 16, Block V.,
Waimatuku Township. Bounded towards the north-east by
the Limestone Plains Road, 300 links; towards the south-
east by Section No. 17 of said block, 287 links; on the east
by Section No. 6 of said block, 287 links; on the south by the
Main Road, 300 links; on the west by Section No. 10 of said
block, 414·8 links; and towards the north-west by Section
No. 13 of said block, 414·8 links: be all the aforesaid linkages
more or less; as the same is delineated on the plan de-
posited in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Invercargill. For
a school-site.

Defining the Limits of the Port of Thames.

IN pursuance of the power and authority in me vested by
the ninth section of "The Harbours Act, 1878," I,
William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the
Colony of New Zealand, do hereby define the limits of the
Port of Thames to be as follow:—
To seaward an arc of a circle of five nautic miles radius
from the intersection at Opani Point of two lines, one of
which bears 242° 12′ from Trig. 92 (Pukeoraka), and the
other bears 333° 45′ from Trig. 90 (Telegraph Tower); and
shall include so much of the Thames or Waihou River as is
included by a right line drawn across the said river in a
south-westerly direction, being the prolongation of the south-
eastern boundary-line of Block No. 4682 (TeNgutu-o-te-Manu),
and no more of the Piako River than is bounded by a right
line drawn across the river between the Telegraph Towers
near the mouth thereof; as the same is delineated on the
plan marked M.D. 1418, deposited in the office of the Marine
Department, at Wellington.
All former limits of the port are hereby annulled.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this twenty-third day of May, one thousand eight
hundred and eighty-eight.
