IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the third section of “The Land Act Amendment Act, 1887” (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, having received the report of the Surveyor-General in this behalf, as in the said section is provided, do hereby declare that the rural lands enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall be open for sale or selection, after the lapse of a period of forty-five days from the date of the first public notification hereof, in the manner and upon the conditions mentioned in the said Act, and at the price per acre respectively set opposite such land in the said Schedule.

Revocation of Notice classifying Pastoral Lands in the Canterbury Land District.

IN pursuance of the sixth section of “The Land Act, 1885,” I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby revoke so much of a certain notification, published at page one thousand eight hundred and forty-five of the New Zealand Gazette No. 106, dated the seventh day of December, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-two, as relates to the block of land described in the Schedule hereto.

BY virtue of the power and authority conferred upon me by “The Thermal-springs Districts Act, 1881,” and of every other power and authority enabling me in that behalf, I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint

CAMILLE MALFROY

to be a Member of the Board, constituted on the twenty-third day of March, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-three, to administer the affairs of the Township of Rotorua, established under the said “Thermal-springs Districts Act, 1881,” vice H. D. Johnson.

Trustees appointed for the Maintenance of the Brighton Public Cemetery.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the sixth section of “The Cemeteries Act, 1882,” I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint the several persons whose names are specified in the first column of the Schedule hereto to be Trustees to provide for the maintenance and care of the public cemetery specified in the second column of the said Schedule.

Hugh Woodburn. All that parcel of land in the Nelson Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 acres, more or less, being Section No. 20, Block I., Brighton Survey District. Bounded on the north-eastward by Crown lands, 388 links; on the south-eastward by Crown lands, 616 links; on the south-westward by road reserve, 450 links; and on the north-westward partly by road reserve and partly by Section No. 15, Block I., Brighton District, 388 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Nelson.
