NOTICE is hereby given that, at an extraordinary general meeting of the Moanatairi Extended Gold-mining Company (Limited), duly convened, and held at the Chamber of Commerce, Auckland, on the 6th day of March, 1888, the subjoined special resolution was duly passed; and at a subsequent extraordinary general meeting of the said company, also duly convened, and held at the same place on the 27th day of March, 1888, the subjoined special resolution was duly confirmed:—
Resolution: “That the company be wound up voluntarily, under the provisions of ‘The Companies Act, 1882.’”
At the said last-mentioned meeting it was also resolved that Mr. John Young be appointed Liquidator.

NOTICE is hereby given that, at an Extraordinary General Meeting of the shareholders of the above company, held at Napier on the 6th day of April, 1888, the following resolution was carried nem. con.: “It having been proved to the satisfaction of the shareholders of the Theatre Royal Company, of Napier (Limited), assembled at an extraordinary general meeting thereof, that the said company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that the said company be wound-up voluntarily.”

NOTICE is hereby given that the Registrar of Friendly Societies has, pursuant to section 10 of “The Friendly Societies Act, 1882,” by writing under his hand dated this 11th day of April, 1888, cancelled the registry of the Ponsonby Lodge, Register No. 13(8), held at Ponsonby, Branch of the Auckland District, Manchester Unity, Independent Order of Odd Fellows, on the ground that the said lodge has ceased to exist.

THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.

SUBSCRIPTIONS.—The subscription is at the rate of 30s. per annum, PAYABLE IN ADVANCE. A less period than three months cannot be subscribed for.
Single copies of the Gazette, 6d. each.
Advertisements are charged at the uniform rate of 6d. per line for each insertion.
For half-yearly statements under the Mining Act, the charge will be 23s.
All advertisements should be written on one side of the paper, and signatures, &c., should be written in a legible hand.
The number of insertions required must be written across the face of the advertisement.
The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday evening in each week, and notices for insertion must be received by the Government Printer before two o’clock of the day preceding publication.
Communications should be addressed to the Government Printer, Wellington, to whom post office money orders should be made payable.
Postage or duty stamps cannot in any case be received in payment from any place at which post office orders are issued.
Booksellers and Advertising Agents will be allowed a commission at the rate of 5 per cent.
NO ADVERTISEMENT WILL BE INSERTED WITHOUT PREPAYMENT BEING MADE.
