- All questions shall be determined by the majority of

SCHEDULE.
ALL that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Otago,
containing by admeasurement 50 acres, more or less, situate
in the Town of East Gore, and being Block XIX. Bounded
towards the north-east and south by the Waikaka River ;
and towards the north-west by the Railway Reserve : as the
same is delineated on the plans deposited in the Provincial
District Survey Office, Dunedin.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this ninth day
of April, 1888.
Present:
His Excellency the Governor in Council.
IN exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities,
vested in him by "The Public Domains Act, 1881," His
Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by
and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
thereof, doth hereby revoke a certain Order in Council,
dated the eighteenth day of September, one thousand eight
hundred and eighty-three, making delegation of certain
powers in manner as therein appears; and doth, with the
like advice and consent, by this present order, delegate, but
only with respect to the pieces or parcels of land described in
the Schedule hereto, all the powers conferred by the Act
aforesaid, except the powers under or conferred by sections
five and twelve thereof, to the under-mentioned persons, who
shall be known as the Te Aroha Public Domain Board,
namely,—
JAMES LAVERY,
GEORGE LIPSEY,
JOHN ALLAN DOBSON,
JOHN BEALBY SMITH,
PATRICK QUINLAN,
HUGH McCLIVER, and
FRANCIS PAVITT
(herein referred to as "the Board"), subject to the stipula-
tions hereinafter contained, that is to say,—

The Board shall meet for the transaction of business on
the first Friday in each month, at three o'clock p.m., at
Te Aroha, or at such other time or place as may from time
to time be fixed by the Board. The first meeting shall be
held on Friday, the fourth day of May, one thousand eight
hundred and eighty-eight. -
Special meetings may be convened by the Chairman or
by any two members of the Board, provided that two days'
notice of such meeting be given to each member, specifying
the business to be transacted at such special meeting, and
no other business than that so specified shall be transacted
at such meeting. -
Any three of the said Board shall form a quorum. Any
meeting may be adjourned from time to time. -
The members of the Board shall, at their first meeting,
and thereafter at an annual meeting to be held on the first
Friday in January in every succeeding year thereafter,
elect one of themselves to be Chairman, who may join in the
discussion, and shall have an original as well as a casting
vote. The Chairman shall hold office until the election of
his successor. -
If at any meeting the Chairman is not present at the
time appointed for holding the same, the members present
shall choose some one of their number to be Chairman of
such meeting. -
If, by resignation, death, or incapacity, or otherwise, the
office of Chairman shall be or become vacant, the members
may at any monthly or special meeting appoint a Chairman. -

SCHEDULE.
ALL that piece or parcel of land containing by admeasure-
ment 121 acres, more or less, being the northern portion of
Section No. 5, Block XI., Te Aroha Survey District, Pro-
vincial District of Auckland. Bounded on the north by
Township Reserve, 1271 links; on the north-east by a public
road, 3279 links; on the south-east by southern portion of
Section No. 5, 5035 links; and on the west by Section No. 4,
5911 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.
All that piece or parcel of land containing by admeasure-
ment 38 acres 2 roods, more or less, being Section No. 8,
Block XI., Te Aroha Survey District, Provincial District of
Auckland. Bounded on the north by Township Reserve,
594 links; towards the north-east by Section No. 13, Block
IX., 1392 links; towards the east by a public road in a
curve; towards the south-east by Section No. 6, 980 links;
towards the south-west by a public road, 2606 links; and
towards the north-west by Section No. 8A, 1420 links: be all
the aforesaid linkages more or less.

Section No. 1, in the Town of Opotiki, Parish of Wairoeka,
and County of Opotiki. Bounded on the north by a street,
100 links wide, 200 links; on the east by Allotments Nos. 14
and 27, 500 links; on the south by a street, of width afore-
said, 100 links; on the west by Allotment No. 29, 250 links;
again on the south by Allotment No. 29 aforesaid, 100 links;
and again on the west by Allotment No. 11, 250 links.
