IN the matter of a decision of the Court given during a
session advertised to be opened at Shortland, Thames,
in the said district, on the 9th day of April, 1885, and post-
poned to the 5th day of May, 1885, upon the hearing of a
claim for investigation of title to land situate in the said
district, and known as Oparia; and in the matter of the
application made to this Court, in writing, within three
months after such decision was given, by Natives thinking
themselves aggrieved thereby, for a rehearing upon the
aforesaid claim:
I, John Edwin Macdonald, Chief Judge of the said Court,
and in exercise of the authority in that behalf vested in me,
do hereby order that a rehearing upon such claim be had on
the 10th day of April next, at a sitting of the Court to be
then held at Shortland, in the district aforesaid.

18th April, 1888, at 2 o’clock in the afternoon.

Town of Kumara: Sections 325 to 328, 332 to 335, 391 to
393, 396 to 398, 409 to 412, 415 to 418, 429 to 431, 434 to 436
and 54, containing 20 perches each. Upset price of sec-
tions, £5.
Sections 394, 395, 432, and 433, containing 30 perches
each. Upset price, £7 10s.
Pastoral lands: Run No. 12, Upper Mikonui River, con-
taining 3,000 acres. Upset rental, £6 per annum; term,
5 years.
