Castlepoint Road District to the Alfredton Road District,
altering the boundaries of the Alfredton and Castlepoint
Ridings, and dividing the Castlepoint Riding into two
ridings, passed by the Council of the County of Wairarapa
North, have been duly made in accordance with the pro-
visions of “The Counties Act, 1886.”

SPECIAL ORDER, made by the Council of the County of
Wairarapa North, altering a Portion of the Boundaries of
the Alfredton and Castlepoint Ridings.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by “The
Counties Act, 1886,” the Council of the County of Wairarapa
North resolves as follows:—
That the portion of the eastern and western boundaries of
the Alfredton and Castlepoint Ridings respectively lying
between the north-west corner of Section No. 50, Block VII.,
and the north-east corner of Section No. 127, Block XI.,
both in the Puketoi Survey District, be and the same are
hereby amended so as to be coterminous with the amended
boundaries of the Alfredton and Castlepoint Road Districts,
as set forth in the special order of this Council of even date
herewith, annexing a portion of the Castlepoint Road District
to the Alfredton Road District.
Passed by the said Council this 10th day of January, 1888.
Confirmed by the said Council this 14th day of February,
1888.

SPECIAL ORDER, made by the Council of the County of Wai-
rarapa North, dividing the Castlepoint Riding into two
Ridings.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by “The
Counties Act, 1886,” the Council of the County of Wairarapa
North resolves as follows:—
That the Castlepoint Riding; consisting of two entire road
districts, namely, the Castlepoint and Akitio Road Districts,
and represented by three Councillors, be and the same is
hereby divided into two ridings, namely, the Akitio Riding, the
boundaries of which shall be coterminous with the boundaries
of the said Akitio Road District, as described in the special
order of this Council, dated the 10th day of November, 1886,
and published on page 1518 of the New Zealand Gazette No.
61, dated the 25th day of November, 1886, the said Akitio
Riding to return one member of Council; and the Castle-
point Riding, the boundaries of which shall be coterminous
with the boundaries of the said Castlepoint Road District,
as described in the said special order,—subject, however, to
the alteration in the eastern boundary thereof mentioned in
the special order of the Council of even date herewith,
annexing a portion of the last-mentioned road district to the
Alfredton Road District,—the said Castlepoint Riding to
return two members of Council.
Passed by the said Council this 10th day of January, 1888.

the Amendment thereof.
To each and every the owner or owners of land described in
the substituted valuation-rolls of Native lands supplied
to the local bodies, the names of which are set forth in the
Schedule hereunder, under the provisions of the above
Acts and all other Acts affecting the same or relating
thereto.
WHEREAS demand having been made to me, the under-
signed Colonial Treasurer of the Colony of New Zealand, in
accordance with the provisions of “The Crown and Native
Lands Rating Act, 1882,” by or on behalf of the said local
bodies, for payment of the rates appearing to be payable
under or by virtue of the said rolls for the year ending the
31st March, 1888:
Notice is hereby given to you and each and every of you
that rolls of Native lands are now deposited at the offices of
