ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this fifth day of February, 1887.

Present:

THE HONOURABLE THE PREMIER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by "The Court of Appeal Act, 1882," it is enacted that the Court shall hold its sittings at such times and places as shall be from time to time fixed by the Governor in Council, and proclaimed in the Government Gazette twenty-one days at least before the time so fixed respectively:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby fix that a sitting of the Court of Appeal of New Zealand shall be held within the Supreme Courthouse, in the City of Christchurch, upon Tuesday, the eighth day of March, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-seven, at eleven o'clock in the forenoon.

Road in Brooklyn Valley, Nelson, proclaimed a Public Road under "The Land Act, 1885," Clause 13.

HIS Excellency the Governor directs it to be notified that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is a public road.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Nelson, situate in the Motueka Survey District, and being a road-line, 50 links wide and upwards, traversing a portion of the Brooklyn Valley; commencing at a point on the public road forming the northern boundary of Section No. 1 (Motueka Rural), at a distance of 1358 links westward from the north-eastern corner of the said Section No. 1, being the southern side of the road above referred to; and thence continuing westerly generally for a distance of 10370 links or thereabouts to the western boundary of Section No. 61, Square No. 9; thence southerly for a distance of 1389 links along the western boundaries of Sections Nos. 61 (Square No. 9) and 16 of 61 (Motueka Rural) to a point on the western boundary of the latter section distant 488 links south of its north-western corner: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on Plan No. 42, Motueka District, deposited in the Survey Office at Nelson.

Trustees appointed for the Maintenance of the Suburban North (Nelson) Public Cemetery.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the sixth section of "The Cemeteries Act, 1882," I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint the several persons whose names are specified in the first column of the Schedule hereto to be Trustees to provide for the maintenance and care of the public cemetery specified in the second column of the said Schedule.

Robert Mackay. All that piece or parcel of land containing by admeasurement 2 acres and 16 perches, more or less, situate in the Land District of Nelson, being Section No. 57B, Suburban North. Bounded as follows: On the North-eastward by a public road, and on all other sides by Section No. 1, Suburban North.

Trustee appointed for the Waimate Cemetery.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the sixth section of "The Cemeteries Act, 1882," I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint MICHAEL CUTHBERT STUDHOLME to be a Trustee, in the place of Michael Studholme, deceased, to provide for the maintenance and care of the Waimate Cemetery, in conjunction with the other persons appointed by warrant under the hand of His Excellency the Governor on the twenty-fourth day of October, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-five.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this thirty-first day of January, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-seven.
