- The above statement is, to the best of my belief and knowledge, true in every particular; and I make this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true, and by virtue of an Act of the General Assembly of New Zealand intituled “The Justices of the Peace Act, 1882.”

Private Advertisements.
In the matter of “The Companies Act, 1882,” and of the Northern Land, Loan, and Building Company of Wellington (Limited).
NOTICE is hereby given that, at an extraordinary general meeting of the Northern Land, Loan, and Building Company of Wellington (Limited), duly convened and held on the 4th day of January, 1887, the subjoined special resolution was passed; and at a subsequent extraordinary general meeting of the said company, also duly convened and held on the 31st day of January, 1887, the subjoined special resolution was duly confirmed:—
“That the Northern Land, Loan, and Building Company of Wellington (Limited) be wound up voluntarily, according to the provisions of ‘The Companies Act, 1882.’”
And notice is hereby further given that, at the said meeting of the said company held on the 31st day of January, 1887, the following resolution was passed: “That Messrs. R. M. Simpson and J. R. Blair be appointed Liquidators for the purposes of such winding-up, on the terms as to remuneration and otherwise contained in the respective letters of date 11th and 31st January, 1887, from R. M. Simpson, Managing Director of the Wellington Building and Investment Company (Limited).”

TAKE notice that the Partnership hitherto existing between ALFRED JOSEPH KIRK and ARTHUR HENRY DUFF, of Hawera, carrying on business in copartnership under the style or firm of “Kirk, Duff, and Co.,” at Hawera, as General Storekeepers, has this day been dissolved by mutual consent, as from the 25th day of January, 1887. The business will in future be carried on by Mr. Alfred Joseph Kirk, to whom all moneys owing to the said partnership must be paid, and by whom all the debts of the said partnership will be settled.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership hitherto subsisting between JOHN THOMAS MATSON and WILLIAM BUSS in the business carried on by them, at Rangiora, in the Provincial District of Canterbury, as Auctioneers and Stock and Station Agents, has been dissolved by effluxion of time as and from the 31st day of August, 1886.
The business at Rangiora will in future be carried on solely and on account of the said William Buss, who will receive all debts owing to and pay all moneys due by the late firm.

SUBSCRIPTIONS.—The subscription is at the rate of 30s. per annum, PAYABLE IN ADVANCE. A less period than three months cannot be subscribed for.
Single copies of the Gazette, 6d. each.
Advertisements are charged at the uniform rate of 6d. per line for each insertion.
For half-yearly statements under the Mining Act, the charge will be 23s.
All advertisements should be written on one side of the paper, and signatures, &c., should be written in a legible hand.
The number of insertions required must be written across the face of the advertisement.
Booksellers and Advertising Agents will be allowed a commission at the rate of 5 per cent.
The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday evening in each week, and notices for insertion must be received by the Government Printer before two o’clock of the day preceding publication.
Communications should be addressed to the Government Printer, Wellington, to whom post office money orders should be made payable.
Postage or duty stamps cannot in any case be received in payment from any place at which post office orders are issued.
NO ADVERTISEMENT WILL BE INSERTED WITHOUT PREPAYMENT BEING MADE.
