Sitting of the Native Land Court in re Taupo-nui-a-tia.

IN THE NATIVE LAND COURT:
DISTRICT OF AUCKLAND.

In the matter of a decision of the Court given at Taupo, on the 24th day of September, 1887, declaring the title to land known as Taupo-nui-a-tia, and in the matter of various applications made for a rehearing in respect of the said decision.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Chief Judge of the Court will, on Wednesday, the 18th day of January, 1888, attend at Cambridge, in the said district, for the purpose of hearing the parties making the applications aforesaid in support thereof, and all other persons interested in the matter of the said decision and applications.

Notice of Sitting of Native Land Court.

NOTICE is hereby given, in conformity with section 232 of "The Land Act, 1885," that the Crown lands situate in the Mackenzie County and Hakateramea Valley, formerly excluded from sale by the Government in view of proposed railway-extensions, will be open for application at the Land Offices, Christchurch and Timaru, on the 29th February, 1888, subject to the provisions of the said Act.

Section 15, 53 acres and 27 perches; upset price, £159 11s.

Section 2 of 51, 32 acres 1 rood 26 perches; upset price, £33.

Kaituna Valley, Onamalutu Survey District.

One-fourth of the purchase-money must be paid at the auction, and the balance, together with the Crown-grant fee, within two months, or the money paid at auction will be forfeited.

Pastoral License liable to Forfeiture.

Crown Lands Office,
Blenheim, 19th October, 1887.

IT is notified that the pastoral license of Arapaua Run, Queen Charlotte Sound, standing in the name of Charles Godfrey, is liable to forfeiture under section 188 of "The Land Act, 1885," and that unless the rent in arrear, amounting to £12 10s., together with the full amount of the penalty from the 1st September last, be paid within three months from the first insertion of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette, the said license will be forthwith declared forfeited.

Notice to Occupiers of Runs, Westland District.

Hokitika, 26th October, 1887.

IN accordance with section 188 of "The Land Act, 1885," I hereby give notice that the runs enumerated in the Schedule hereto will be declared forfeited if the amount of rent due, together with the penalty for non-payment, are not paid to the Receiver of Land Revenue, Hokitika, within three months from the date of first insertion of this notice.

Sale of Crown Lands in the Huiroa and Waitara Districts (Ngatimaru).

Crown Lands Office,
New Plymouth, 7th December, 1887.

IT is hereby notified that the under-mentioned sections of rural land in the Huiroa and Waitara Districts have been declared open for selection under the deferred-payment and perpetual-leasing systems.
The land is mostly bush-land, with patches of open, the block on the east bank of the Waitara River (generally known as the Ngatimaru Country) being so surveyed that every section includes more or less open land. It lies about eleven miles to the east of Inglewood, from which it is accessible by the Junction Road.
Plans, schedules, and forms of application and tender may be obtained at this office, and at the District Land Offices, Patea and Hawera.
