Proclaiming the Taking and Laying-off of Roads over Land in the Auckland Provincial District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and in exercise of all powers and authorities enabling me in this behalf, I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim that the roads described in the Schedule hereto have been duly taken and laid off through the land specified under warrants of the dates given in the said Schedule.

SCHEDULE.

All those parcels of land in the Provincial District of Auckland, containing by admeasurement 13 acres and 15 perches and 7 acres 3 roods 4 perches respectively, more or less, situated in the Waikohu Survey District, and being road-lines, 100 links wide and upwards, traversing portions of the Puhatikotiko No. 1 Block:—

Road containing 13 acres and 15 perches: Commencing at a point on the south-western boundary of the Puhatikotiko No. 4 Block at a distance of 62 links or thereabouts from its south-eastern angle, being the middle of the road above referred to; and thence continuing southerly generally for a distance of 13085 links or thereabouts to the Waikohu River.

Road containing 7 acres 3 roods 4 perches: Commencing at a point on the eastern side of the road hereinbefore described at a distance of 7953 links or thereabouts from the south-eastern angle of the Puhatikotiko No. 4 Block. Bounded towards the North generally by lines, 2647·5, 335·5, 528·2, 800, and 300 links respectively; towards the East by the Waipaoa River; towards the West by a line, 965 links; towards the South by lines, 505·2, 333·5, and 2597 links respectively; and again towards the West by a line, 104 links, to the commencing-point.

Be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same are delineated on Map No. 4525, deposited in the Survey Office, Auckland.

Date of Governor’s warrant, 29th August, 1882.

All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auckland, containing by admeasurement 4 acres and 22 perches, more or less, situated in the Waikohu Survey District, and being a road-line, 100 links wide, traversing a part of the eastern portion of the Puhatikotiko No. 4 Block (No. 3528); commencing at a point on the south-western boundary of the Puhatikotiko No. 4 Block at a distance of 64 links or thereabouts from its south-eastern angle, being the middle of the road above referred to; and thence continuing northerly and north-easterly generally for a distance of 4142 links or thereabouts to its intersection by the eastern boundary of the Puhatikotiko No. 4 Block aforesaid: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on Map No. 4526, deposited in the Survey Office, Auckland.

All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auckland, containing by admeasurement 5 acres and 13 perches, more or less, situated in the Waikohu and Mangatu Survey Districts, and being a road-line, 100 links wide and upwards, traversing Te Koutu Block; commencing at a point on the north-eastern boundary of Te Koutu Block at a distance of 1013 links or thereabouts from its northern angle, being the middle of the road above referred to; and thence continuing south-westerly for a distance of 4168 links or thereabouts to its junction with the road which traverses part of the eastern portion of the Puhatikotiko Block No. 4: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on Map No. 4526, deposited in the Survey Office, Auckland.

All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auckland, containing by admeasurement 15 acres 2 roods 26 perches, more or less, situated in the Mangatu Survey District, and being a road-line, 100 links wide and upwards, traversing the Tapuihikitia Block; commencing at a point on the north-eastern boundary of Te Koutu Block at a distance of 1013 links or thereabouts from its northern angle, being the middle of the road above referred to; and thence continuing north-westerly generally for a distance of 10554 links or thereabouts to the north-western angle of Tapuihikitia Block: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on Map No. 4527, deposited in the Survey Office, Auckland.

Date of Governor’s warrant, 29th August, 1882.

All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auckland, containing by admeasurement 7 acres 2 roods 13 perches, more or less, situate in the Mangata Survey District, and being a road-line, 100 links wide and upwards, traversing a part of the eastern portion of the Manukawhitikitiki Block No. 1 (No. 3517); commencing at a point on the eastern boundary of the aforesaid block at a distance of 4250 links or thereabouts from its north-eastern angle, being the middle of the road above referred to; and thence continuing westerly, southerly, and south-easterly for a total distance of 5100 links or thereabouts to the eastern boundary of the aforesaid block to its junction with another road, containing 7 acres and 19 perches, which traverses part of the western portion of the Manukawhitikitiki Block (No. 3516): be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is
