SCHEDULE.

ALL that piece or parcel of land described in the New Zealand Gazette No. 73, of the 23rd December, 1875, as land reserved in Westland for educational purposes, and being Reserve No. 129 (in red), containing 1,000 acres, more or less, situate in the Arahura District. Bounded on the Southward by the D.J. line; on the Westward by the Railway Reserve No. 7 (in red); on the Eastward by the E.A. line; and on the Northward by a line to include the quantity.

Given under the hand of His Excellency Sir William Francis Drummond Jervois, Lieutenant-General in Her Majesty’s Army, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Companion of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over Her Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral of the same; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this seventeenth day of October, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty-seven.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by “The Public Reserves Sale Act, 1878,” the land specified in the Schedule hereto was, with other lands, set apart for sale on deferred payments: And whereas by an Order in Council issued on the twenty-second day of May, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-nine, in terms of the said Act, it was directed that the section should be disposed of at the price stated therein on deferred payments: And whereas it is expedient that the section mentioned in the Schedule hereto should be withdrawn from the deferred-payment system, with a view to its being offered under the provisions of Part IV. of “The Land Act, 1885,” for perpetual leasing:

Now, therefore, I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon me by section six of “The Land Act, 1885,” and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in that behalf, do hereby revoke the said Order in Council of the twenty-second day of May, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-nine, so far as it relates to the section mentioned in the Schedule hereto, and do proclaim and declare that the said section is hereby withdrawn from the deferred-payment system.

RESERVE NO. 389, ORARI.

SECTION No. 19, subdivision of Lot 54, containing 5 acres.

A PROCLAMATION.

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the sixth section of “The Land Act, 1885,” and of every other power and authority enabling me in that behalf, I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamations dated the fourteenth day of July, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-nine, and the twelfth day of March, one thousand eight hundred and eighty, in so far as they relate to the sections of land enumerated in the Schedule hereto, which were, with other lands, set apart for sale on deferred payments under the provisions of section fifty-four of “The Mines Act, 1877.”

A PROCLAMATION.

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the one hundred and thirty-fifth section of “The Land Act, 1885,” and of every other power and authority enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby declare that the section of land enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall be set apart for lease, with right of renewal, under the provisions of Part IV. of “The Land Act, 1885.”
