In the matter of “The Companies Act, 1882,” and in the matter of the Hokianga Land Settlement Company (Limited).
NOTICE is hereby given of the following special resolutions passed by the above-named company at extraordinary general meetings of Shareholders, viz.:
On the 13th September, 1887: “That the Hokianga Land Settlement Company (Limited) be wound up voluntarily; and that Messrs. John Terras Bell, of Cathedral Square, Christchurch, Land Agent, and Frederick Waymouth, of Hereford Street, Christchurch, Accountant, be appointed Liquidators.”
On the 29th September, 1887: “That the resolution passed at the meeting held on the 13th September, 1887, be now confirmed.”

AT an extraordinary general meeting of Shareholders of the Katikati Cheese and Bacon Manufacturing Company (Limited), held on the 2nd day of July, 1887, it was resolved, and at a subsequent meeting held on the 30th July, 1887, confirmed, “That, as the company, by reason of its liabilities, could not carry on its business, it be wound up voluntarily; and that C. A. Goodridge be appointed Liquidator.”

I, CLIFTON CHARLTON, Bachelor of Medicine and Master of Surgery of Edinburgh University, now residing at Tenui, hereby give notice that I intend applying, on the tenth day of November, 1887, to have my name placed on the Medical Register for the Colony of New Zealand; and that I have deposited the evidence of my qualification in the office of the Registrar-General.

IN pursuance of section 11 of “The Foreign Companies Act, 1884,” notice is hereby given that after the expiration of three months from the date of this notice the J. Kitchen and Sons and Apollo Company (Limited) will cease to carry on business in the Colony of New Zealand under the Foreign Companies Act, and after the expiration of the above time the J. Kitchen and Sons and Apollo Company (Limited) will carry on business as usual as a company registered in New Zealand under “The Companies Act, 1882.”

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership lately existing between us, as Hotelkeepers, at Pahiatua and Tahoraite, under the style or firm of “Stewart and Crarer,” has this day been dissolved by mutual consent. The Tamaki Hotel, at Tahoraite, will for the future be carried on by Peter Crarer on his own account, who will receive and pay all debts owing to or by the said firm in connection with the Tamaki Hotel. The Pahiatua Hotel will in future be carried on by William Stewart on his own account, who will receive and pay all debts owing to or by the said firm in connection with the Pahiatua Hotel.
