NOTICE OF CONSTRUCTION OF WATER-RACE.

To the Mining Registrar at Lawrence of the Otago Mining District, and all other persons whom it may concern.

TAKE notice that it is intended to construct a Tail-race for mining purposes, commencing at a point on Section 3, Block II., Tuapeka East (McCluskey's freehold); thence through Section 5 (Cowie's freehold); thence through Crown lands south of Wetherstones School; thence across Waipori Road; thence through Section 39, Block X. (Curtin's freehold); thence through Sections 40 and 73 (Pope's freehold); thence under Wetherstones Road into Wetherstones Creek. Ditch is constructed. Length of such tail-race is half a mile or thereabouts, and course is westerly. The greatest depth is 4½ft., and the greatest width is 8ft. Cost of work, £20. Pegs marked L.
