A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the one hundred and sixty-second section of “The Land Act, 1885,” I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the sections of land described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same are hereby set apart and declared open for application as a village homestead special settlement for perpetual leasing, upon the terms and conditions fixed by an Order in Council issued on the first day of September, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-six, and made under the one hundred and sixty-third section of the said Act.

SCHEDULE.
ALL that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Canterbury, containing by admeasurement 193 acres 2 roods 31 perches, more or less, situate in the Spaxton Survey District, and bounded towards the North-west by Sections Nos. 27851 and 29887 3490 links, also by a road-line 228 links; towards the North-east by Section No. 27828, 6280 links; towards the South-east by Sections Nos. 25352 and 25269, 5946 links; and towards the South-west by a road-line, 4248 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; save and excepting thereout Sections Nos. 30586 and 30587, which are included in the above-described parcel of land; as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the District Survey Office, Christchurch.
All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Canterbury, containing by admeasurement 220 acres, more or less, situate in the Spaxton Survey District, and bounded towards the North-west by Reserve No. 2571 (in red), 1600 links; towards the North-east by a road-line, 9800 links; towards the South-east by a road-line, 3600 links; and towards the South-west by Reserve No. 2501: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; save and excepting thereout Reserve No. 1020 (in red), which is included in the above-described parcel of land; as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the District Survey Office, Christchurch.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by the one hundred and fourth section of “The Land Act, 1885,” it is enacted that the Governor, by Proclamation in the Gazette, may from time to time set apart out of any suburban or rural lands such blocks or allotments of land as he shall think fit, and set the same aside for sale on deferred payments, and in such Proclamation may fix a day on which the land shall be open for application; and that he may also in like manner set apart for sale on deferred payments such blocks or allotments as may be recommended by any Land Board, and may also from time to time alter, amend, or revoke any such Proclamation;
