THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.

section of “The Land Act, 1885,” and of every other power
and authority enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency
the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said
colony, doth hereby declare that the sections of land enume-
rated in the Schedule hereto shall be set apart for lease,
with right of renewal, under the provisions of Part IV. of
“The Land Act, 1885.”

A PROCLAMATION.
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in him by the one hundred and thirty-fifth
section of “The Land Act, 1885,” and of every other power
and authority enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency
the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said
colony, doth hereby declare that the section of land enume-
rated in the Schedule hereto shall be set apart for lease,
with right of renewal, under the provisions of Part IV. of
“The Land Act, 1885.”

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by the one hundred and fourth section of
“The Land Act, 1885,” it is enacted that the
Governor, by Proclamation in the Gazette, may from time
to time set apart out of any suburban or rural lands such
blocks or allotments of land as he shall think fit, and set
the same aside for sale on deferred payments, and in such
Proclamation may fix a day on which the land shall be open
for application; and that he may also in like manner set
apart for sale on deferred payments such blocks or allot-
ments as may be recommended by any Land Board, and
may also from time to time alter, amend, or revoke any
such Proclamation: And whereas the land specified in the
Schedule hereto was, with other lands, by Proclamation
dated the twelfth day of February, one thousand eight hun-
dred and eighty-four, proclaimed as set apart for sale on
deferred payments: And whereas it is expedient to with-
draw the said land from the deferred-payment system:
Now, therefore, I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the
Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in pursuance and
exercise of the power and authority vested in me by the
above-named Act, do hereby revoke the Proclamation above
referred to, so far as it relates to the sections therein men-
tioned and included in the Schedule hereto, and do proclaim
and declare that the said sections are hereby withdrawn
from the operation of the deferred-payment system.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the lands mentioned in the Schedule hereto
are required to be taken, under “The Public Works
Act, 1882,” and its amendments, for a certain work, to wit,
the construction of roads in Hunua Road District, Pro-
vincial District of Auckland:
And whereas the Hunua Road Board has laid before the
Governor the memorial, accompanied by maps, and also
the statutory declaration, as required by the said Act and the
amendments thereof:
Now, therefore, I, William Francis Drummond Jervois,
the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and
pursuance of the powers and authorities in me vested by
“The Public Works Act, 1882,” and of every other power
and authority in anywise enabling me in that behalf, do
hereby proclaim and declare that, from and after the date of
the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, the lands
mentioned in the Schedule hereto are hereby taken for the
purposes of the construction of the said roads.
