A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the one hundred and sixty-sixth section of “The Land Act, 1885,” I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the land described in the Schedule hereto for sale as a village settlement, upon such terms and conditions which are to be set forth in the Order in Council to be made under the one hundred and sixty-seventh section of the said Act.

Given under the hand of His Excellency Sir William Francis Drummond Jervois, Lieutenant-General in Her Majesty’s Army, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Companion of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over Her Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral of the same; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this third day of August, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty-seven.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the one hundred and sixty-second section of “The Land Act, 1885,” I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the area of land described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby set apart and declared open for application as a village homestead special settlement for perpetual leasing, upon the terms and conditions fixed by an Order in Council issued on the first day of September, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-six, and made under the one hundred and sixty-third section of the said Act.

CLARENDON DISTRICT.
FIFTY acres of the southern portion of Section 59, Block VI.

ERRATA.—In New Zealand Gazette No. 49, of 28th July, 1887, page 1007, in description of Resident Magistrate’s District of Oamaru, for “Waihemo Creek,” read “Waihema Creek.” In New Zealand Gazette No. 50, of the 3rd August, 1887, page 1033, under polling-places appointed for the Southern Maori Electoral District, for “Te Awaiti, Pelorus Sound,” read “Te Awaiti, Tory Channel, Queen Charlotte Sound.”
