Land set apart for a Village Homestead Special Settlement
for Perpetual Leasing in the Auckland Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.

I
N pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon
me by the one hundred and sixty-second section of
"The Land Act, 1885," I, William Francis Drummond
Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do
hereby proclaim and declare that the parcel of land de-
scribed in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is
hereby set apart and declared open for application as a
village homestead special settlement for perpetual leasing,
upon the terms and conditions fixed by an Order in Council
issued on the first day of September, one thousand eight
hundred and eighty-six, and made under the one hundred
and sixty-third section of the said Act.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that piece or parcel of land in the Provincial District of
Auckland, containing by admeasurement 465 acres, more or
less, and situate in Blocks IV. and VIII., Kerikeri Survey
District. Bounded towards the North by a line, 1680 links ;
towards the North-east generally by the Purerua Block, 823,
600, 584, 938, and 7070 links ; towards the East generally by
the Popoura River ; and towards the South-west generally
and North-west generally by the Manganui River : be all the
aforesaid linkages more or less.

Given under the hand of His Excellency Sir William
Francis Drummond Jervois, Lieutenant-General
in Her Majesty's Army, Knight Grand Cross of
the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael
and Saint George, Companion of the Most
Honourable Order of the Bath, Governor and
Commander-in-Chief in and over Her Majesty's
Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies,
and Vice-Admiral of the same ; and issued under
the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government
House, at Wellington, this fifth day of January,
in the year of our Lord one thousand eight
hundred and eighty-seven.

Survey District, Provincial District of Auckland, containing
by admeasurement 494 acres, more or less. Bounded
towards the North generally by the Mangaohc or Firewood
Stream ; towards the East generally by a public road, 800,
1276, and 2880 links ; towards the South by Section No. 9 of
the Parish of Waipa, 3600 links ; again towards the East by
the western boundary of the said section and a line being
the production of the same in a southerly direction, 3100
links ; again towards the South by a line, 7000 links ; and
towards the West by a line, 4800 links, to the point of com-
mencement : be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.

Given under the hand of His Excellency Sir William
