the Prince of Wales Gold-mining Company as a
Limited Company, under the provisions of “The Mining
Companies Act, 1886.”

In the matter of “The Public Works Act, 1882,” and the
amending Acts thereof; and in the matter of the taking
by the Waihemo County Council of certain lands in the
County of Waihemo, in the Provincial District of Otago,
for use as a road.
NOTICE is hereby given that it is the intention of the
Waihemo County Council to take certain lands in
the Provincial District of Otago, hereinafter more particu-
larly described, for the purpose of constructing a road, and
all persons affected are hereby called upon to set forth in
writing any well-grounded objections to the taking of such
lands, and to send such writing within forty days from the
publication hereof to the said Waihemo County Council;
and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the said
lands is open for inspection at the office of the said Waihemo
County Council, and the following is the description of the
said lands:—
- All that parcel of land containing, by admeasurement
2 roods 29·5 perches, being portion of Pre-emptive Right E
on Run 250, and now known as Section 9, Block XII., Rock
and Pillar Survey District, and being land required for a
deviation of the road-line known as the Deepdell Road.
Dated at Palmerston, in the Provincial District of Otago,
aforesaid, this thirteenth day of January, 1887.
