Copy of SPECIAL ORDER made by the Eyreton Road Board at the Ordinary Monthly Meeting, held at the Road Board Office, Ohoka, on the 4th July, 1887, all the Members being present.
PROPOSED by Mr. Hay Smith, and seconded by Mr. Fredrick Denton, “That a special order be made, viz.: That ‘The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1886,’ and ‘The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886,’ be adopted by the Eyreton Road Board for the Eyreton Road Board District.” Carried unanimously.
I hereby certify that the above special order was duly passed by the Eyreton Road Board in the manner prescribed by sections 75 and 76 of “The Road Boards Act, 1882.”

Special Order made by Wairarapa North County Council.—Altering Boundaries of Upper Taueru and Masterton Road Districts.

THE following special order, made by the Wairarapa North County Council, is published in accordance with “The Counties Act, 1886.”

SPECIAL ORDER made by the Council of the County of Wairarapa North, annexing Portion of the Upper Taueru Road District to the Masterton Road District.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by “The Counties Act, 1886,” and with the consent of the Boards of the Upper Taueru and Masterton Road Districts, the Council of the County of Wairarapa North resolves as follows:—
That all that portion of the Upper Taueru Road District known as Kai-o-te-Atua, and contained within the following boundaries, that is to say, commencing at a point where a line bearing 74° 28′ 35·1″ magnetic from south base trigonometrical station intersects the Wangaehu Stream, in Block XIV., Kopuaranga Survey District; thence northwards by the centre of that stream to its intersection with the southern boundary of Section No. 5, Block XV., Kopuaranga; thence by part of the said boundary of the last-mentioned section, and by the northern and eastern boundaries of Section No. 141N in the same block and survey district to the Mangatopitopi Creek; thence by the said creek to its intersection with the bearing before mentioned; and thence westwards by the said bearing to the point of commencement—be now annexed to the Masterton Road District.
That the following shall be the amended description of the southern and western boundaries of the Upper Taueru Road District, viz.: Generally towards the South by Sections Nos. 14, 88, 89, 92, and 96, Block IV., Otahoua Survey District, by the centre of the Taueru River to its confluence with its tributary, the Mangatopitopi Creek; thence towards the west in a northerly direction by that creek and the eastern boundary of the Kai-o-te-Atua Native block to the south-eastern boundary of Section No. 5, Block XV., Kopuaranga Survey District, by Sections Nos. 5 and 3, same block and survey district, by Sections Nos. 6, 5, 4, 3, 9, and 120, Block XI., by Sections Nos. 113, 114, 210, and 118, Block VII., all of the Kopuaranga Survey District, by a public road, and by Section No. 107, Block VII., and Section No. 98, Block III., both in the Kopuaranga Survey District, to the northern boundary of the aforesaid Upper Taueru Road District.
That the following shall be the amended description of the Masterton Road District: Bounded towards the North by the Mauriceville, Upper Taueru, and Whareama Road Districts; towards the East by the Whareama Road District; towards the South by the Taratahi-Carterton Road District; and towards the West by the Horowhenua County.
That this special order shall come into operation upon the gazetting thereof.
Passed by the said Council, this 14th day of June, 1887.
Confirmed by the said Council, this 12th day of July, 1887.

Making By-law for regulating the Berthing or Removal of Vessels at a Railway Wharf (Picton Section).
IN pursuance of the powers vested in me by section 144 of “The Public Works Act, 1882,” and amending Acts, I, Patrick Alphonsus Buckley, a member of the Executive Council of the Colony, holding the office of Colonial Secretary, and acting in the absence of the Minister for Public Works, do hereby make the following by-law for the management of the Picton to Blenheim Railway, being one of the railways open for traffic in the Colony of New Zealand, in addition to the by-laws published in the New Zealand Gazette of the 26th October, 1882; such by-law to come into force from and after the first day of August, 1887.
The Stationmaster may order any vessel or timber to be removed from any berth at the railway wharves to any other berth at the railway wharves whenever such removal shall, in his opinion, be proper for the general accommodation of the shipping or the railway; and any person who shall fail to do any act under this by-law directed to be done by him shall be liable to a penalty not exceeding £10 for each such failure.
