SECOND SCHEDULE.

OTAMATEA COUNTY.

Kaiwaka Licensing District.—Comprises all that area known as the Kaiwaka Riding, as described in the New Zealand Gazette No. 9, 10th February, 1887.

Wairau Licensing District.—Comprises all that area known as the Ridings of Wairau and Mareretu, as described in the New Zealand Gazette No. 9, 10th February, 1887.

Paparoa Licensing District.—Comprises all that area known as the Ridings of Paparoa and Whakapirau, as described in the New Zealand Gazette No. 9, 10th February, 1887.

Matakoe Licensing District.—Comprises all that area known as the Matakoe Riding, as described in the New Zealand Gazette No. 9, 10th February, 1887.

Tokatoka Licensing District.—Comprises all that area known as the Tokatoka Riding, as described in the New Zealand Gazette No. 9, 10th February, 1887.

Given under the hand of His Excellency Sir William Francis Drummond Jervois, Lieutenant-General in Her Majesty’s Army, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Companion of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over Her Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral of the same; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-fourth day of June, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty-seven.

Proclaiming Woodville a Borough under “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1886.”

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1886,” the Governor is empowered, by Proclamation, to declare any portion of the Colony of New Zealand to be a borough under the said Act from and after a day to be named in such Proclamation:

Now, therefore, I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the said Colony of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the said Act, do hereby proclaim and declare that the district described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby constituted, as from the first day of July, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-seven, a borough under the said Act; and I do further proclaim and declare that the name of such borough shall be the Borough of Woodville, and that the boundaries thereof shall be those described in the said Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

BOROUGH OF WOODVILLE.

ALL that area in the Provincial District of Hawke’s Bay bounded towards the North-east by the road forming the northern boundary of Rural Sections Nos. 175, 6, 7, 8, and 9, Suburban Sections Nos. 24, 23, 18, and 17, and Rural Sections Nos. 10, 11, 12, and 13; towards the South-east by the road forming the eastern boundary of said Section No. 13; again towards the North-east by the road from Napier to Palmerston North; again towards the South-east by Rural Section No. 70; towards the South generally by the Manga-atua River; and towards the North-west by the road forming the western boundary of Rural Sections Nos. 123, 124, and 175.

Proclaiming the Taking and Laying-off of a Road over Land in the Wellington Provincial District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and in exercise of all powers and authorities enabling me in this behalf, I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim that the road described in the Schedule hereto has been duly taken and laid off through the land specified in a warrant of the date given in the said Schedule.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that piece of land, 100 links wide, the centre of which commences at a point marked A, distant 3248 links from the south-east corner of Section No. 127 (Native reserve), in Block IX., Ongo Survey District; and proceeds thence through Section No. 28 in a north-easterly direction to a point marked B, distant about 1050 links from the north-west corner of said section.

Also all that other piece of land, 100 links wide, the centre of which commences at a point marked C on the south-western boundary of Section No. 27, distant about 250 links from the south-east corner of said section; and proceeds thence through same section in a north-easterly direction to a point marked D, distant about 110 links from the north-western corner of Section No. 29.

Also all that other piece of land, 100 links wide, the centre of which commences at a point marked E, distant 50 links from the south-western corner of Section No. 33; and proceeds thence through same section in a parallel line to its north-western boundary to a point marked F, distant about 1250 links from the starting-point E.

Also all that other piece of land, 100 links wide, the centre of which commences at a point marked G, distant 50 links from the south-western corner of Section No. 34; and proceeds thence generally in a north-easterly direction through said Section No. 34 and Section No. 35 to a point marked H, distant about 13 chains along a public road from the north-east corner of Section No. 26.

As the same pieces of land are more particularly delineated on the plan marked S.O. 1227/203, deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Wellington.

Date of warrant, 11th February, 1880.
