NOTICE is hereby given that the several parcels of land
hereinafter described will be brought under the pro-
visions of “The Land Transfer Act, 1885,” unless caveat
be lodged forbidding the same within one calendar month
after the date of the Gazette containing this notice.

  1. WILLIAM DUNN.—32 perches, part Rural Section
    175, Town District of Linwood. Occupied by Applicant.

  2. MARGARET GEORGE.—2 roods, part Lot 50,
    Christchurch Town Reserves. Occupied by Messrs. Puflett,
    Blunt, and Dale.

  3. JOHN HOPPER.—2 acres 2 roods 31 perches, part
    Rural Section 72, Sydenham. Occupied by Applicant.

  4. WILLIAM DOUGALL.—1 rood, Section 48, City of
    Christchurch. Occupied by Applicant.

Diagrams may be inspected at this office.

Office, Christchurch.

Private Advertisements.

NOTICE.

AT a duly-convened extraordinary special meeting of the
Te Puke Dairy Produce Company (Limited), held on
the 2nd day of June, 1887, the following resolution was
passed, and confirmed on the 16th day of June following :
“That, considering the unfavourable state of the company’s
affairs, the company be voluntarily wound up.” Also
resolved that Mr. PHILIP BENNETT, of Te Puke, be
appointed Liquidator.

I, HENRY O’BRIEN DECK, late of Melbourne, Victoria, now
of Motueka, Nelson, New Zealand, Bachelor of Medi-
cine and Bachelor of Surgery of the University of Melbourne,
hereby give notice that I have, this 23rd day of June, 1887,
deposited evidence of my qualifications with the Registrar
of the Nelson District; and that I shall apply to be
registered under the Medical Practitioners Act of New
Zealand on the 23rd day of July, 1887.

SUBSCRIPTIONS.—The subscription is at the rate of 30s.
per annum, PAYABLE IN ADVANCE. A less period than
three months cannot be subscribed for.

Single copies of the Gazette, 6d. each.

Advertisements are charged at the uniform rate of 6d. per
line for each insertion.

For half-yearly statements under the Mining Act, the
charge will be 23s.

All advertisements should be written on one side of the
paper, and signatures, &c., should be written in a legible
hand.

The number of insertions required must be written across
the face of the advertisement.

Booksellers and Advertising Agents will be allowed a com-
mission at the rate of 5 per cent.

The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday even-
ing in each week, and notices for insertion must be received
by the Government Printer before two o’clock of the day
preceding publication.

Communications should be addressed to the Government
Printer, Wellington, to whom post office money orders should
be made payable.

Postage or duty stamps cannot in any case be received in
payment from any place at which post office orders are issued.

NO ADVERTISEMENT WILL BE INSERTED WITHOUT PREPAY-
MENT BEING MADE.
