THOMAS ROXBURGH, of Collins Street West, Melbourne,
Victoria, Merchant, has deposited at this office a speci-
fication of the said invention; and I have appointed
Tuesday, the 6th day of September next, at 11 o’clock
in the forenoon, at this office, to hear the said application
and all objections thereto; and I require all persons having
an interest in opposing the grant of such Letters Patent
to leave, on or before the 22nd day of August next, at this

Gold-mining Lease cancelled.

IT is hereby notified that His Excellency the Governor has
been pleased to pronounce the under-mentioned gold-
mining lease cancelled, and that the ground is now open for
application as if no lease of the said ground had ever been
applied for:—

Pryor; 5 acres, Ross, in the Westland Mining District.

public auction, at the Survey Office, Blenheim, on
Saturday, the 2nd July, 1887, at noon:—
PASTORAL LICENSES UNDER PART VI. OF “THE LAND ACT,
1885.”

The late Waikakaho Run Cloudy Bay Acres. 2,500*
Mahakipaua (behind Section 71) Linkwater 500
  • License to contain special condition reserving a right-of-way to
    the public through the run.
    Term, ten years; upset annual rent, 1d. an acre. Two
    months’ rent and a license-fee of £1 1s. must be paid on the
    fall of the hammer.

LEASE UNDER SECTION 23 OF “THE PUBLIC RESERVES ACT,
1881.”

Locality, &c. Survey District. Area.
Block A, Woodbank Run Bui Bui Acres. 300

Term, five years from the 4th July, 1887; upset annual
rent, £5 10s. The lease will contain the same conditions
as the lease now current. Six months’ rent and £3 for the
lease must be paid on the fall of the hammer.

Sale of Runs, West Coast, Middle Island.

Hokitika, 17th May, 1887.
RUNS to be submitted to public auction, at the Land
Office, Hokitika, on Wednesday, the 6th July, 1887,
at 2 o’clock in the afternoon.
The licenses for runs will be for terms as set forth.
Purchasers will have to pay rent from date of sale to the
1st September, 1888, on the fall of the hammer.
Plans may be seen and particulars obtained at the Survey
Office, Hokitika.

TRANSMISSION No. 319.—BARBARA DEAN, Wife of
ALEXANDER DEAN, of Otatau, Storekeeper, claiming
as Devisee under the will of WILLIAM GARRICK, of Otatau,
Tentmaker, deceased, has applied to be registered Proprietor
of Allotment 6, Block VI., on plan deposited in the Land
Transfer Office as No. 84, being part of Section 31, Block I.,
Invercargill Hundred; and I hereby notify that she will be
so registered unless caveat be lodged forbidding the same
within one month from the date of the gazetting of this
notice.
