Certain Rivers, &c., in Westland notified under “The Timber-floating Act, 1884.”

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the second section of “The Timber-floating Act, 1884,” I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby notify that the following rivers and streams within the colony may be used under license for the purposes of the said Act:—

Stillwater Creek and its tributaries, Arnold River and its tributaries, Big Hohonu River and its tributaries, Orangipuka River and its tributaries, all within the Grey County.

Given under the hand of His Excellency Sir William Francis Drummond Jervois, Lieutenant-General in Her Majesty’s Army, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Companion of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over Her Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral of the same; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this eighth day of June, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty-seven.

Revoking the Setting-apart of Land for Leasing as Small Grazing Runs.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the sixth section of “The Land Act, 1885,” I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the Proclamation of the thirtieth day of November, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-five, by His Excellency the Governor, setting apart the sections of land enumerated in the Schedule hereto for leasing as small grazing runs shall be and the same is hereby revoked.

A PROCLAMATION.

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the one hundred and ninety-seventh section of “The Land Act, 1885,” and of every other power and authority enabling me in that behalf, I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby declare that the parcels of land enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall be subject to the provisions of sections one hundred and ninety-eight to two hundred and nineteen of Part VII. of “The Land Act, 1885,” relating to small grazing runs.
