SPECIAL ORDER passed by the Whangarei County Council at a Meeting held on Wednesday, 9th March, 1887.

RESOLVED, That the prayer of the petition of the South Highway District, Waipu, requesting the said district to be merged in the county, be granted, and the proper steps be taken by the Council to legalize the same.

I hereby certify that the special order merging the Waipu South Road District into the county has been made in accordance with law.
