Extension of Time for Preparation of Buller County Rolls.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this second day of May, 1887.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS it has been made to appear that, owing to unavoidable circumstances, the preparation of the rolls for the County of Buller, and the taking of certain steps consequent on such preparation, cannot be made and taken within the times limited by "The Counties Act, 1886," and it is expedient to extend the said times respectively:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers conferred upon him by the said Act, and by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby order and declare that the several dates mentioned in the second column of the Schedule hereto shall be the respective dates for taking the several steps set opposite such times in the first column of the said Schedule respectively.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this second day of May, 1887.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section three of "The Public Bodies' Leaseholds Act, 1886" (hereinafter termed "the said Act"), it is provided that His Excellency the Governor may, by Order in Council, from time to time declare that any leasing authority shall be subject to the provisions of the said Act, but that no such order shall be issued except at the request or on the recommendation of the leasing authority on whose behalf such order is to be issued:
And whereas it has been made to appear that the Council of the Otago University are a leasing authority within the said Act, and have recommended to His Excellency the Governor that they may be brought under the provisions of the said Act:
Now, therefore, His Excellency Sir William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by the said Act, doth hereby order and declare that, from and after the date hereof, the Council of the University of Otago shall be subject to the provisions of sections three, five, six, seven, eight, nine, eleven, and twelve of "The Public Bodies' Leaseholds Act, 1886."

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-fifth day of April, 1887.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken for a public work authorized to be constructed by the Government, to wit, the construction of works for the purposes of defence at Taiaroa Heads, Otago: And whereas the said land is held or occupied by Native owners:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him by "The Public Works Act, 1882," and the amendments thereof, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency Sir William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby order that the Government work known as the construction of works for the purposes of defence at Taiaroa Heads, Otago, shall and may be constructed on or through the parcel of land more particularly mentioned in the Schedule hereto.
