OTICE is hereby given that the Partnership hitherto
existing between the undersigned, carrying on busi-
ness in the Kyber Pass Road, Auckland, as Grocers and
Provision Dealers, under the style or firm of “J. and J.
Warnock,” has been this day dissolved by mutual consent.
Mr. James Warnock will for the future carry on the
business on his own account, in the old premises, and will
pay and receive all debts of the late partnership.

OTICE is hereby given that the Partnership hitherto
subsisting between the undersigned WILLIAM LANE
and RICHARD KINGSTON, under the style or firm of “W. Lane
and Co.,” as Aërated Water and Cordial Manufacturers, in
Dunedin, Oamaru, and Timaru, has this day been dissolved
by mutual consent, and that the said business shall hence-
forth be carried on at the same places by the said William
Lane, under the said style of “W. Lane and Co.;” and that
all the debts due to the said partnership shall be received,
and all the debts due by the said partnership shall be paid,
by the said William Lane.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION OF A PUBLIC ROAD, 100 LINKS
WIDE, AT ELLERSLIE, IN THE PROVINCIAL
DISTRICT OF AUCKLAND.

OTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the
provisions of “The Public Works Act, 1882,” and
amendments thereof, to execute certain public works, to wit,
the construction of a public road, 100 links wide, from a
point on the Panmure Road near the Ellerslie Railway-
station to the Great South Road, in the Provincial District
of Auckland, and for the purpose of such public works the
lands mentioned in the Schedule hereto are required to be
taken.
And notice is further given that the plan of the said work
and of the land so required to be taken are deposited in the
Public Works Office, Auckland, and copies of the same are
open for inspection at the office of the Mount Wellington
Road Board at Ellerslie.
And notice is hereby given that all persons affected by the
execution of the said public works or the taking of the said
lands shall, if they have well-grounded objections to the
executing of the said public works or to the taking of such
lands, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing,
within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to
the Clerk for the Mount Wellington Highway District Board,
at Ellerslie.

ticularly delineated on the plan marked 4430, deposited in
the Public Works Department's office, Auckland, and the
office of the Mount Wellington Highway District Board, at
Ellerslie, in the Provincial District of Auckland, and thereon
coloured red.
As witness my hand, at Ellerslie, this twentieth day
of April, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-
seven.

, COLIN MCKENZIE GORDON, Registrar of the Supreme
Court for the District of Otago, do hereby notify that
an affidavit, a copy of which is hereunder given, by JAMES
MILLS and ANGUS CAMERON, two Directors of the Otago
Towing Company (Limited), has been lodged in the Resident
Magistrate's Court, at Dunedin, and forwarded to me; and
that, unless notice of objection be lodged with me within
sixty days of this date, I shall proceed to declare the said
company to be dissolved, in manner provided by “The Com-
panies Act, 1882.”

We, James Mills and Angus Cameron, two of the Directors
of the Otago Towing Company (Limited), incorporated under
“The Joint-stock Companies Act, 1860,” do hereby make
oath and say—

That the nominal capital of the said company is fifteen
thousand pounds, divided into three thousand shares of five
pounds each, of which one thousand nine hundred and
twenty shares only have been issued. -
That the shares so issued have been fully paid up.

That the company has no assets, and has ceased to
carry on its operations.
And we, James Mills and Angus Cameron, hereby apply
for declaration of dissolution of the company.

OTICE is hereby given, in pursuance of the provisions
of “The Public Works Act, 1882,” and of “The
Municipal Corporations Act, 1886,” that the Mayor, Coun-
cillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Sydenham, com-
monly called “The Sydenham Borough Council,” propose to
widen a street named Lord Brougham Street, lying along
the southern boundary of Rural Section No. 79, in the
Borough of Sydenham, and for that purpose to take, in
accordance with the provisions of the said “Public Works
Act, 1882,” all that parcel of land in the Borough of Syden-
ham being part of Rural Section No. 79, containing by
measurement 10·8 perches, having a frontage of 910 links to,
and bounded on the South by, the northern boundary of the
said Lord Brougham Street, and being further bounded on
the West by the east side of Madras Street, on the North by
a line parallel with, and 7·6 links north of, the northern
boundary of Lord Brougham Street, and on the East by the
west side of Barbadoes Street.
A plan showing the street to be widened and the lands
required to be taken for that purpose, together with the
names of the several owners and occupiers of such lands, so
far as they can be ascertained, can be seen at the Borough
Council Offices, Bowen Street, Sydenham, from 10 a.m. to
4 p.m. each day excepting Saturdays, and on Saturdays
from 10 a.m. till noon.
All persons affected are hereby called upon to set forth in
writing any well-grounded objections they may have to the
proposed widening of the said street or to the taking of the
said lands as aforesaid; and such objections must be delivered
to the said Council, at the aforesaid Borough Council Offices,
within forty days from the first publication of this notice,
namely, before the 8th day of June, 1887.
