WELLINGTON.
All that piece or parcel of land containing by admeasurement 21 acres 3 roods 5 perches, more or less, being Section No. 79, situate in Block XVIII., Mangahao Survey District, in the Provincial District of Wellington. Bounded towards the North-east by Sections Nos. 82 and 78, 1884 links; towards the South-east by a public road, 1100 links; towards the South-west by Sections Nos. 84 and 80, 2077 links; and towards the North-west by a public road along the proper right bank of the Mangatainoka River, 1117 links: be all the aforesaid linkages a little more or less. For a recreation-ground.
All that piece or parcel of land in the Provincial District of Wellington, being Sections Nos. 15 and 20 on the plan of the Township of Hunter ville, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 2 roods, more or less, and deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Wellington. For police purposes.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-sixth day of March, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-seven.

Fixing Shooting Season for Imported Game, License Fee, &c., Cook County District.

IN exercise of the powers vested in me by “The Animals Protection Act, 1880,” and the Acts amending the same, I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby notify that cock-pheasants may be taken or killed within the Cook County District, consisting of the County of Cook, from the first day of May, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-seven, to the thirty-first day of July, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-seven, both inclusive (subject nevertheless to the restrictions in the said Acts mentioned). And I do further notify that licenses to take or kill such game within the said district shall be issued on payment of the sum of twenty shillings each, and that licenses to sell such game shall be issued on payment of the sum of five pounds each; and the Chief Postmaster at Gisborne is hereby appointed to issue and sign the said licenses. And I do further notify that native game (excepting tuis) may be taken or killed within the said district from the first day of April, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-seven, to the thirty-first day of July, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-seven, both inclusive.

IN exercise of the powers vested in me by “The Animals Protection Act, 1880,” and the Acts amending the same, I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby notify that cock-pheasants and Californian and Australian quail may be taken or killed within the Tauranga District, consisting of the Counties of Tauranga and Rotorua, and so much of the Counties of East Taupo and Whakatane as lies to the north of the Rangitaiki River, from the first day of May, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-seven, to the thirty-first day of July, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-seven, both inclusive (subject nevertheless to the restrictions in the said Acts mentioned). And I do further notify that licenses to take or kill such game within the said district shall be issued on payment of the sum of twenty shillings each, and that licenses to sell such game shall be issued on payment of the sum of five pounds each; and the Postmaster at Tauranga is hereby appointed to issue and sign the said licenses. And I do further notify that native game (excepting tuis) may be taken or killed within the said district from the first day of April, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-seven, to the thirty-first day of July, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-seven, both inclusive.

IN exercise of the powers vested in me by “The Animals Protection Act, 1880,” and the Acts amending the same, I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby notify that cock-pheasants may be taken or killed within the Opotiki District, consisting of so much of the Counties of East Taupo and Whakatane as lies to the south of the Rangitaiki River, from the first day of May, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-seven, to the twentieth day of July, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-seven, both inclusive (subject nevertheless to the restrictions in the said Acts mentioned). And I do further notify that licenses to take or kill such game within the said district shall be issued on payment of the sum of ten shillings each, and that licenses to sell such game shall be issued on payment of the sum of five pounds each; and the Postmaster at Opotiki is hereby appointed to issue and sign the said licenses. And I do further notify that native game (excepting tuis) may be taken or killed within the said district from the twentieth day of April, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-seven, to the twentieth day of July, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-seven, both inclusive.

IN exercise of the powers vested in me by “The Animals Protection Act, 1880,” and the Acts amending the same, I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby notify that cock-pheasants and Californian and Australian quail may be taken or killed within the Hawke’s Bay District, consisting of the Counties of Hawke’s Bay, Patangata, Waipawa, and Wairoa, from the first day of May, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-seven, to the thirty-first day of July, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-seven, both inclusive (subject nevertheless to the restrictions in the said Acts mentioned). And I do further notify that licenses to take or kill such game within the said district shall be issued on payment of the sum of twenty shillings each, and that licenses to sell such game shall be issued on payment of the sum of five pounds each; and the Chief Postmaster at Napier is hereby appointed to issue and sign the said licenses. And I do further notify that native game (excepting tuis) may be taken or killed within the said district from the first day of May, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-seven, to the thirty-first day of July, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-seven, both inclusive.

IN exercise of the powers vested in me by “The Animals Protection Act, 1880,” and the Acts amending the same, I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby declare that cock-pheasants, Californian quail, and hares may be taken or killed within the Marlborough District, consisting of the Counties of Marlborough and Sounds, excepting the area described in the Schedule hereto, from the first day of May, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-seven, to the thirty-first day of July, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-seven, both inclusive. And I do further notify that licenses to take or kill such game within the said district shall be issued on payment of the sum of one pound each, and that licenses to sell such game shall be issued on payment of the sum of five pounds each; and that the Chief Postmaster at Blenheim is hereby appointed to issue and sign the said licenses. And I do further notify that native game (excepting tuis) may be taken or killed within the said district during the period between the first day of April, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-seven, and the thirty-first day of July, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-seven, both inclusive.
