In the matter of “The Companies Act, 1882,” and of the
New Zealand Manure and Chemical Company (Limited),
in liquidation.
I HEREBY convene a General Meeting of the Shareholders
in the above-named company, to be held in Horne's
Buildings, Strand, Tauranga, on Wednesday, 1st June, 1887,
at 11 o'clock a.m., for the purpose of submitting an account
showing the manner in which the winding-up of the com-
pany has been conducted, and hearing any explanation that
may be given by the Liquidator.

In the matter of “The Companies Act, 1882,” and of the
Timaru Woollen Factory Company (Limited).
A T a special general meeting of the above-named com-
pany, duly convened and held at the Odd Fellows'
Hall, Sophia Street, Timaru, on the 17th January, 1887, the
subjoined resolution was duly past; and at a subsequent
special general meeting of the members of the said company,
also duly convened and held at the same place, on the 1st
February, 1887, the said resolution was duly confirmed, and
the subjoined resolution was duly passed; and at a subse-
quent special general meeting of the members of the said
company, also duly convened and held at the same place on
the 18th February, 1887, the said resolution passed on the
1st February, 1887, was duly confirmed :—
Resolution passed 17th January, 1887: “That the Timaru
Woollen Factory Company (Limited) be wound up volun-
tarily.”
Resolution passed 1st February, 1887: “That the special
resolution, as follows, 'That the Timaru Woollen Factory
Company (Limited) be wound up voluntarily,' passed at a
special meeting of shareholders held on the 17th day of
January, 1887, be confirmed by this special meeting of
Shareholders; and that Messrs. C. S. Fraser and John Jack-
son be and are hereby appointed Liquidators for the purpose
of such winding-up.”
Resolution passed 18th February, 1887: “That the resolu-
tion passed at a special meeting of Shareholders held on the 1st
day of February instant, as follows, 'That Messrs. John
Jackson and C. S. Fraser be appointed Liquidators for the
purpose of winding up the Timaru Woollen Factory Com-
pany (Limited),' be confirmed by this special meeting of
Shareholders.”

versity, United States of America, hereby give notice that I
have, this 19th day of March, 1887, deposited my diploma
with the Registrar of the Christchurch District; and that I
shall apply to be registered under the New Zealand Medical
Act on the 19th day of April, 1887.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership hitherto
subsisting between CHARLES DECIMUS BARRAUD, WIL-
LIAM FRANCIS BARRAUD, and JOHN OSCAR SELLGREN, carry-
ing on business as Chemists and Druggists, under the style
of “Barraud and Co.,” has been, by the retirement of John
Oscar Sellgren, this day dissolved by mutual consent. All
accounts due to the late firm must be paid to Charles Decimus
Barraud and William Francis Barraud, who will also pay all
accounts owing.

THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.
SUBSCRIPTIONS.—The subscription is at the rate of 30s.
per annum, PAYABLE IN ADVANCE. A less period than
three months cannot be subscribed for.
Single copies of the Gazette, 6d. each.
Advertisements are charged at the uniform rate of 6d. per
line for each insertion.
For half-yearly statements under the Mining Act, the
charge will be 2s.
All advertisements should be written on one side of the
paper, and signatures, &c., should be written in a legible
hand.
The number of insertions required must be written across
the face of the advertisement.
Booksellers and Advertising Agents will be allowed a com-
mission at the rate of 5 per cent.
The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday even-
ing in each week, and notices for insertion must be received
by the Government Printer before two o'clock of the day
preceding publication.
Communications should be addressed to the Government
Printer, Wellington, to whom post office money orders should
be made payable.
Postage or duty stamps cannot in any case be received in
payment from any place at which post office orders are issued.
No ADVERTISEMENT WILL BE INSERTED WITHOUT PREPAY-
MENT BEING MADE.
