THE following notice of the results of polls for pro-
posed loans, Featherston Road District, are published
in accordance with "The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1886."

SIR,—I have the honour to forward herewith, for publication
in the New Zealand Gazette, the result of polls taken under
the provisions of "The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1886," in
Nos. 5 and 6 Subdistricts of this Board :—

No. 6 SUBDISTRICT SPECIAL RATING DISTRICT.

Poll taken on the 2nd day of March, 1887, on the proposal
to borrow £2,000 for the construction of a bridge over the
Ruamahunga River at Kahautara, and to levy a special rate
of three-sixteenths of a penny in the pound to meet the
repayments of such loan :—

For the proposal .. 6 ratepayers, with 22 votes.
Against the proposal .. None.
Votes not recorded .. 4 ratepayers, with 16 votes.

As a majority of the number of ratepayers, having a
majority of the total number of votes exercisable, voted in
favour of the proposal, I declare the same duly carried.

No. 5 SUBDISTRICT SPECIAL RATING DISTRICT.

Poll taken on the 3rd day of March, 1887, on the proposal
to borrow £500 for the formation of roads in such special
rating district :—

For the proposal .. 2 ratepayers, with 2 votes.
Against the proposal .. 5 ratepayers, with 16 votes.

As a majority of the total number of ratepayers, having a
majority of the total number of votes, did not vote in favour
of the proposal, I declare the same rejected.

Revocation of Appointment of Bonding Warehouses.

CUSTOMS.—In exercise of the authority in me for this
purpose vested, I, the Commissioner of Trade and
Customs, do, by this order under my hand, revoke and annul
the appointment of the under-mentioned warehouses for the
reception and security of goods entered to be warehoused
without payment of duty upon the first entry thereof,
namely,—

Port of Nelson.

The warehouse known as

SCLANDERS AND CO'S. BOND,

as appointed and described in Commissioner's Order No.
89, of the 1st March, 1876.

Port of Kaipara.

The warehouse known as

MITCHELSON'S BOND,

as appointed and described in Commissioner's Order No.
110, of the 6th July, 1878.

Given under my hand, at Wellington, this eighth
day of March, one thousand eight hundred and

Approving and appointing a Bonding Warehouse.

CUSTOMS.—In exercise of the powers in me for this
purpose vested by "The Customs Laws Consolidation
Act, 1882," I, the Commissioner of Trade and Customs, do
hereby approve and appoint the under-mentioned warehouse
to be a warehouse for the reception of goods under bond,
namely,—

Port of Nelson.

A two-storey building, constructed of wood and iron, situ-
ated on reclamation near Railway Wharf, Nelson, to be
known as

SCLANDERS AND CO.'S BOND.

Given under my hand, at Wellington, this eleventh
