NOTICE is hereby given that EDWARD WATERS, Patent Agent, of Melbourne, in the Colony of Victoria, has applied, on behalf of JOSEPH RODGERS and Sons, Limited, of 6, Norfolk Street, Sheffield, Yorkshire, in England, Manufacturers of Cutlery, to register, under “The Trade Marks Act, 1866,” the trade mark of which the following is a description, viz.:—

The special and distinctive word “Climax.”
Nature of the Articles to which it is intended such Trade Mark shall apply.
Unwrought and partly-wrought metals used in manufacture, including steel; knives, razors, scissors, and cutlery in general, including edge-tools and all other articles having a cutting edge; instruments, apparatus, and contrivances for surgical or curative purposes or in relation to health; goods of precious metals, including aluminium, nickel, britannia metal, &c., and imitations of the same, and jewellery; including also Sheffield and other plated goods and silver plate.

THAT the Pareora Riding be divided into two ridings, to be called the Upper and Lower Pareora Ridings respectively, the line of division to be the road-line starting from Upper Pareora Bridge, through Section 3611 and Gordon’s Valley, to the Otaio, by Section 19525.
The said special order to take effect on and after the 1st day of April, 1887.
