THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.

Sir William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby order that the Government work known as a road in the Omapere Survey District, Provincial District of Auckland, shall and may be constructed on or through the parcels of land mentioned in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that piece or parcel of land containing approximately 650 acres, situate in the Omapere Survey District, Provincial District of Auckland. Bounded towards the North generally by the Whakanekeneke River; towards the South generally by the Pataikoka Block (No. 252), 598, 362, 238, 536, 233, and 1173 links; towards the East generally by the same block, 833, 770, 477, 504, and 535 links; towards the South generally by Section No. 36, Parish of Okaihau, 1205 links, by Section No. 37 of the same parish 2910 and 903 links, by Section No. 38 211 and 3396 links, by Section No. 39 2654, 670, and 610 links, and by Section No. 40, all of the Parish of Okaihau aforesaid, 1646 and 1403 links; and towards the South-west by Section No. 2, Block V., Omapere Survey District, 700 and 63 links, by the crossing of a public road 100 links wide, and again by Section No. 2 aforesaid 47, 473, 57, and 363 links to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.

All that piece or parcel of land containing approximately 60 acres, more or less, situate in the Omapere Survey District, Provincial District of Auckland. Bounded towards the North generally by the Whakanekeneke River; towards the East generally by Section No. 70 of the Parish of Okaihau 55 links, by the crossing of a public road 100 links wide, and by a public road 1230 links; towards the South generally by a public road 179 links, and by Section No. 35, Parish of Okaihau aforesaid, 4083 links; and towards the West by the Pataikoka Block (No. 252), 676 links, to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this first day of February, 1887.

Present:

THE HONOURABLE THE PREMIER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by an Order in Council dated the ninth day of March, one thousand eight hundred and eighty, and issued under the provisions of “The Public Reserves Sale Act, 1878,” it was ordered and directed that the land enumerated in the Schedule hereto, together with the other lands enumerated in the Schedule to the Order in Council aforesaid, should be submitted to public auction and be open for sale on deferred payments:

And whereas it is expedient to revoke the Order in Council aforesaid so far as it relates to the sections enumerated in the Schedule hereto:

Now, therefore, I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of all powers and authorities enabling me in that behalf, do hereby, with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the Colony of New Zealand, revoke the Order in Council aforesaid so far as it relates to the land enumerated in the Schedule hereto.

Changing the Purpose of a Portion of a Reserve in Nelson.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this first day of February, 1887.

Present:

THE HONOURABLE THE PREMIER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the land mentioned in the first column of the Schedule hereto was reserved for a gravel-pit and pound site: And whereas the said reserve is for one of the purposes comprised in Class I. of the Schedule to “The Public Reserves Act, 1881,” and, in the opinion of the Governor, it is expedient to change the purpose of a portion of such reserve:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by “The Public Reserves Act, 1881,” doth hereby order and direct that the purpose of the portion of the reserve mentioned in the second column of the Schedule hereto shall be changed from the purpose specified in the first column of the Schedule hereto to that specified in the third column of the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

Description and Purpose of Original Reserve. Portion of which the Purpose is intended to be changed. Intended Purpose.
All that piece or parcel of land containing by ad-measurement 4 acres 1 rood 8 perches, be the same more or less, situate in the Land District of Nelson, being Section No. 57A, Suburban North, and bounded as follows: On the North-eastward partly by site for public hall, partly by Section No. 3, and partly by other portion of Section No. 57A, Suburban North; on the Eastward by a public road; on the Southward by Section No. 57, Suburban North; and on the North-westward by a public road. Reserved for a gravel-pit and a site for a pound. All that piece or parcel of land containing by ad-measurement 18 perches, more or less, being a portion of Section No. 57A, Suburban North, Land District of Nelson, having a frontage of 45ft. to the Main Road, Nelson to Blenheim, by a depth of 110ft., said measurements starting from the northern angle of Section No. 57A. For a site for a public hall.
