Application for a Patent.

Wellington, 12th February, 1886.

PATENT for an Invention for an Improved Oxyhydrogen
Process for smelting and reducing Ores to a Metallic
State, and for the Manufacture of Steel from such Ores and
from manufactured Iron.

WILLIAM HENRY HARRISON, of Sydney, New South Wales,
Metallurgist, has deposited at this office a specification of the
said invention; and I have appointed Tuesday, the 17th day
of August next, at 11 o'clock in the forenoon, at this office, to
hear the said application and all objections thereto; and
I require all persons having an interest in opposing the
grant of such Letters Patent to leave, on or before the 2nd
day of August next, at this office, particulars in writing of
their objections to the said application, otherwise they will
be precluded from urging the same.

Pipes for Locomotive Engines, applicable also to other
uses.

HENRY ADAMS, of 60, Queen Victoria Street, London, Civil
and Mechanical Engineer, and WILLIAM ADAMS, of Nine
Elms, Surrey, England, Locomotive Engineer, have deposited
at this office a specification of the said invention; and I
have appointed Tuesday, the 4th day of May next, at 11
o'clock in the forenoon, at this office, to hear the said appli-
cation and all objections thereto; and I require all persons
having an interest in opposing the grant of such Letters
Patent to leave, on or before the 19th day of April next, at
this office, particulars in writing of their objections to the
said application, otherwise they will be precluded from
urging the same.
