hereinbefore in part recited Act, do hereby proclaim and declare that the provisions of the said Act shall come into force within the locality or district mentioned and described in the Schedule hereto (the same being the locality mentioned and set forth in the said petition so presented as aforesaid), and that the same shall be a town district under the said Act; and, in further pursuance and exercise of the said power and authority, I do hereby declare that the said district shall hereafter be known by the name of “The Richmond Town District,” and I do appoint that the Board of Commissioners for the said district shall consist of seven in number.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the County of Waimea, bounded towards the North-west by a right line through Section No. 108, Waimea Survey District, being the production of the south-eastern boundary-line of Section No. 107, and by Sections Nos. 107, 105, 103, 101, a road-line, Section No. 217, and the south-eastern boundary-line of the last-mentioned section produced to the sea; towards the North generally by the sea; towards the North-east by Sections Nos. 78 and 71; towards the South-east by Sections Nos. 70, 68, 66, a road-line, Sections Nos. 28, 30, and 32; and towards the South-west by Sections Nos. 33, 20, 19, and 110.

Given under the hand of His Excellency Sir William Francis Drummond Jervois, Lieutenant-General in Her Majesty’s Army, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Companion of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over Her Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral of the same; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this thirteenth day of February, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty-six.

A PROCLAMATION.

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the one hundred and sixty-first section of “The Land Act, 1835,” and of every other power and authority enabling me in that behalf, I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby declare that the sections of land enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall be set apart for lease, with perpetual right of renewal, in allotments of the areas stated in the said Schedule.

A PROCLAMATION.

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the one hundred and ninety-seventh section of “The Land Act, 1885,” and of every other power and authority enabling me in that behalf, I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby amend the Schedule to the Proclamation issued under my hand on the seventeenth day of December, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-five, setting apart land in the Canterbury Land District for leasing as small grazing runs, and do hereby declare that, in lieu of the sections of land enumerated in the Schedule aforesaid, the sections of land enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall be subject to the provisions of sections one hundred and ninety-eight to two hundred and nineteen of Part VII. of “The Land Act, 1885,” relating to small grazing runs.

Land set apart on Deferred Payments in Hawke’s Bay.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by the one hundred and fourth section of “The Land Act, 1885,” it is enacted that the Governor, by Proclamation in the Gazette, may from time to time set apart out of any suburban or rural lands such blocks or allotments of land as he shall think fit, and set the same aside for sale on deferred payments, and in such Proclamation may fix a day on which the land shall be open for application; and that he may also in like manner set apart for sale on deferred payments such blocks or allotments as may be recommended by any Land Board, and may also from time to time alter, amend, or revoke any such Proclamation:

And whereas the Land Board of Hawke’s Bay has passed a resolution recommending that the land described in the Schedule hereto annexed should be set apart for sale on deferred payments:

And whereas it is expedient to give effect to the aforesaid recommendation, and to set apart the said land accordingly
