I, the undersigned, hereby make application to register
the Suez Gold-mining Company as a Limited Company, under the provisions of the “Mining Companies Act,
1886.”

  1. The name of the company is to be the Suez Gold-mining Company (Limited).

  2. The place of operations is in the Devil’s Creek District,
    adjoining the Globe Lease, near Reefton, in the County of
    Inangahua, in New Zealand.

  3. The registered office of the company will be situated at
    Reefton, in New Zealand.

  4. The nominal capital of the company is twelve thousand pounds, in twenty-four thousand shares of ten shillings each.

  5. The number of shares subscribed for is twenty-four thousand shares, being not less than two-thirds of the entire number of shares in the company.

  6. The number of paid-up shares is nil.

  7. The amount already paid up is nil.

  8. The name of the Manager is William Hindmarsh.

NOTICE TO ALL PARTIES CONCERNED.

NOTICE is hereby given that, in accordance with the powers vested in them by section 7 of “The Railways Authorization Act, 1885,” and with section 10, clause 2, and other clauses of “The Public Works Act, 1882,” the Westport Harbour Board have applied to the Governor in Council for authority to construct a railway on the western side of the Buller River, to connect with the present Cape Foulwind Line.

Any persons effected by the execution of the above work are hereby called upon to set forth in writing any well-grounded objections to the same, and to send such writing within forty days from the first publication of this notice to the Westport Harbour Board.

Plans of the proposed railway are deposited at the Harbour Board Office, Westport, where they may be inspected.
