PATENT for an Invention for curing Scour and Lung-worm in Sheep.

JOSEPH FORD, of Ealing, Canterbury, New Zealand, Farmer, has deposited at this office a specification of the said invention; and I have appointed Thursday, the 17th day of March next, at 11 o’clock in the forenoon, at this office, to hear the said application and all objections thereto; and I require all persons having an interest in opposing the grant of such Letters Patent to leave, on or before the 2nd day of March next, at this office, particulars in writing of their objections to the said application, otherwise they will be precluded from urging the same.

REMARKS.—On the whole a showery unpleasant month, with prevailing N.W. wind and frequently stormy. Maximum rain recorded on 5th, 1·60in. Thunder and vivid lightening on 25th. Maximum temperature in shade, 66·5°; minimum, 37°. Mean humidity, 80°. Mean temperature of dewpoint, 45·9°. Earthquakes on 11th at 4.12 p.m., slight, and on 13th about 8.30 p.m. very slight.
